Notice the title says Second Song Released. That would imply that somebody had probably posted a news article very very similar to this one -- the only difference would be the name of the song...

Definite Natural Born Chaos feel to this song. [2]

Based upon the first few songs we've heard, this should be the best album they've put out since then. I'm gonna guess a strong 3.5

Even though they've only released a few tracks off of a double album, these songs are the best thing they've done in ten years and I am almost excited and expecting great things. These dudes know they fucked up and they're trying to change it

I don't know.

--So where is the Staff Blog post about this new song?--

I was going to add it to the old one, but didn't even have time to really do that either.

Those harmonized guitars are great, but the chorus is kinda eh. Still good song, though. Stoked for the record.

"Based upon the first few songs we've heard, this should be the best album they've put out since then. I'm gonna guess a strong 3.5"

FNF, STD and STAGD all have a 3.5 average here on Sputnik, something's wrong with people, all those albums are 2,5 tops.

As for this song, it sounds metalcorish as fuck. The melodies are in an altogether different dimension from those of the three albums mentioned above, though.

Teaser to yet another song 'Antidotes In Passing.'

Actually seems quite good (cue complaints about the vocal hooks being too shit, it sounding too metalcore-ish and someguest accusing me of being a metalcore kid and to go suck on an adam d).

Well maybe saying it's metalcorish may sound harsh, but the riffs definitely do have that happy teenager feel like Sonic Syndicate's or Atreyu's riffs do. Thank goodness there are no chugged breakdowns at least

Sounds good, and certainly better than new Scar Symmetry? Maybe I should check out Soilwork's previous two albums.

Not sure how I feel about this yet. Don't quite hear the "Natural Born Chaos" sound.

If the rest of the album maintains the level of these two songs, Scar Symmetry's gonna have a hard time matching this. But who knows. Soilwork made like 3 utterly shitty albums in a row and then started to rebound, Scar Symmetry may still surprise us

You gotta be fucking kidding me, the last few albums excluding TPB were half-assed excuses for albums
