Going
Wait, UK tour?
Nevermind
|
| |
lol
|
| |
"Ghost have been announced as headliners"
over Gojira? didn't realize Ghost were that big. they were great live on Hunter/Heritage though.
|
| |
well fuck, this rules and i'll never get to see it, i wish every show was 5 quids
|
| |
YESYESYESYESYESYES
>uk
FUCKFUCKFUCKFUCK
|
| |
Sorry but Ghost > Gojira musically every day, all day. I enjoy both bands, but they are spectacular.
|
| |
Never heard anything by Ghost but Lars Ulrich swears they are his favorite band. They must obviously be a horrible/shitty band.
|
| |
From Sirius to Mars Gojira > new Gojira
|
| |
When the hell did Ghost get bigger than Gojira? Anyway, might be tempted to go this. Not a Ghost fan, but the other two bands are awesome and for £5 a ticket you can't go wrong.
|
| |
Who are these guys?
|
| |
Damn, I was hoping for this to be in the U.S.
|
| |
Ghost as headliners wtf
|
| |
Ghost are not bigger but they have a bigger show than Gojira who tend to just go on stage and wreck the place iirc.
|
| |
8. fucking. US. Dollars. Ugh.
|
| |
yeah this is cool as fuck
|
| |
I'll say, now that I know.
|
| |
I am most definitely going to the Brixton show. The Jager girl's reaction when I turned down a free Jager shot last year was hilarious and I wanna see if I can beat that.
|
| |
Ghost have one album out. How did this happen?
|
| |
I'm not saying it's Satan, but it's Satan.
|
| |
They're probably a lot bigger over in Europe.
Kinda wish it was in America, I would have gone to see this
|
| |
Even in the UK Gojira are way bigger. The Defiled are also pretty big in the UK too, seen as one of the leading lights of the British underground metal scene along with Bury Tomorrow, While She Sleeps and Devil Sold His Soul as a sort of "Big 4" of British underground metal.
|
| |
it's too early in the morning, i read this as gorillaz/gojira/the defiled tour
|
| |
That would be an... interesting tour, to say the least.
|
| |

You read Kerrang don't you...
|
| |
Nope. Metal Hammer. Sometimes Terrorizer.
Though a couple of months back Metal Hammer did a feature on the UK metal scene where The Defiled,
WSS, Bury Tomorrow and DSHS were seen as the "big 4" with shouts to Feed the Rhino etc. as others.
|
| |
Not a chance The Defiled or Bury Tomorrow are anywhere near the premier league of UK metal, and DSHS seem to be doing an Architects and going off on the wrong path. Only While She Sleeps are really noteworthy of those four...
There are so many better bands that those first three...honestly Hammer is just going the way of Kerrang in a desperate bid to gain a catch all on readership. The Defiled are especially awful, and Bury Tomorrow now play saccharine metalcore that's got zero spark or originality.
|
| |
I don't care for BT but I dig The Defiled, they're probably my favourite of the 4 closely followed by WSS, then DSHS.
|
| |
Don't care for Ghost's album, but I saw them live once and they were fantastic.
