Oasis To Record New Album

2006-11-07 by Dave de Sylvia EMERITUS | 15 Comments
According to British rock magazine Uncut, Oasis will begin writing and recording their next album later this month.

Speaking to the magazine, frontman Liam Gallagher had the following to say: "I reckon we're going to start doing something this month, go to our studio. It's the bollocks. Fuckin' old Tudor ranch in High Wycombe, fucking stay there and get it done. Just got to wait for Noel to finish his tunes I suppose."

Liam also expressed relief at finishing the band's career-long relationship with Sony Records with the release of their first best of album, Stop The Clocks: "I want to get this [album] out of the fucking way, it's doing my head in. To me, it's the last of however fucking long, the last 16 years of that label, that's done. We can start again."

Stop The Clocks is released in the Europe on November 20 and a day later worldwide.
