New 2Pac Album In The Works

2006-10-21 by Dave de Sylvia EMERITUS | 8 Comments
Contraversial and dead rapper Tupac Shakur (2Pac) will see his sixth posthumous album released next month.

Pac's Life is released to honour ten years since the rapper's passing, and includes guest spots from Snoop Dogg, Ludacris and Bone Thugs N' Harmony. The album will also honour the tremendous potential for profit Shakur left behind with his estate, however it's unconfirmed whether this sentiment will mentioned in the liner notes for subtlety's sake.

Also rumoured to appear are The Outlawz, Kanye West and R. Kelly. Superstar producer Swizz Beats produces a number of tracks, including 'Untouchable,' featuring Bone Thugs, while L.T. Hutton produced 'Pac's Life,' which features the only previously released material on the album, a verse from 'This Life I Lead.' Also appearing on the track are Ashanti and rapper T.I.

In a statement Shakur's mother Afeni Shakur's said: "I say it everytime, that Tupac left us the blueprints to follow and without the amazing contributions made by everyone of these artists, producers, musicians, everyone I do not know how I would get this great task accomplished."

Pac's Life is released in the US November 21.

I read that 2pac has sold more albums dead than when he was alive. This posthumous album stuff is getting lame. Bone thugs are sweet though, I might check out that track.

Damn you Suge Knight!!!!!!!!! Let the man rest in peace. Stop digging through Pac's trash trying to find his old songs. He threw them away for a reason, they were lame!
