03.01.13 | aww ethy i like you too you're like a mini me in a way and this list is a testament to that, and wow classical is in your pie chart now heh 10% thats cute
i just un-5'd that Mendelssohn concerto the other day tho. I still love it to death (it was my gateway into classical music and probably the origin of my violin fetishism) but the times are changing u know and i wanted to 5 liquid swords so i had to say goodbye to my weakest 5 ugh can't have too many 5s because i'm ocd like that |

03.01.13 | that's a beautiful and heartwarming story, you should write a book
i 5 way too much shit but i only 5 y'know
i consider anything that i can listen to at any time under almost any condition as a 5 cause i don't use the rating system as a personal reflection of my top of the line favorite stuff - but more as a recommendation system for others. that's pretty much how i found all of it in the first place and i want other people to find out about the things i've heard as well. plus, i hate rating music in the first place... i just enjoy discovering and appreciating it.
the ratings part of my profile probably looks stupid and overwhelming but if someone checks out one of them i can guarantee they'll probably look into another - it's kind of like a permanent list of my favorite tunes that doesn't cap at 100 |
