Drone/Ambient that I've been vibing to in 2017
1Bing and Ruth
No Home of the Mind

This man always manages to blow me away with the intensity of his playing along with the structured delicacy of the backing drones. Not as good as Tomorrow Was the Golden Age but still amazing stuff
2Celer
Tetra

Return to form from Celer from 2016 (i missed it then), weirdly not available from his bandcamp at the moment for some reason, but if you can come by this I reckon its his strongest since Engaged Touches
3Devictus
Personal Infinity

So I'm going to bump my own project on here not only because I can and I'm proud of it, but also because i've been genuinely listening to it regularly, learning a lot from hearing it back in a different context. Check it out if you enjoy the other stuff here and let me know what you think (https://devictus.bandcamp.com/album/personal-infinity)
4Prurient
Rainbow Mirror

Well I thought it was good anyway, just dont expect it to hold your full attention if you listen to it in one sitting, that's not really the point
5Golden Retriever
Rotations

Might be my AOTY. Foreboding and dense piano wall of sound relapses to sparse beautiful insular key melodies and strings(?) with a subtle electrical undercurrent. Check it out
