| Earworms to fight Earworms
Alright, guys. I'm quitting my job in like less than a week, but in the mean time all that we listen to is top 40 Country radio. Let me go ahead and say that I'm not here to shit on pop or Country music. I think both have their merits and can be as fantastic as any genre when done correctly. HOWEVER, modern pop Country is going through some dark fucking times. It's an almost irredeemable scene. But listening to songs all day that are designed to drill into your head, eventually they begin to do just that. I've been trying to drive it out with sludge metal, and it has been working great while I'm actually listening, but when it's over the torture continues. BASICALLY, rec me really fucking good pop albums that are catchy as fucking fuck. I'm going to fight fire with fire. | 1 | | The Zombies Odessey and Oracle | 2 | | Bomb the Music Industry! 06.26.15 | "Are you listening to these via headphones, or are you blasting them with a boombox? If the latter, these should deal with any top 40 pussies."
I'll be listening to your recs as I get to them via headphones. We listen to the radio in a kitchen at my job, and we have to listen to either country or occasionally more tolerable pop radio because supposedly it's the only thing our customers will tolerate. | Titan

"way to much noise in our daily lifes today."
disagreed, after jamming out to noise and associated genres the last few months, i wish i could be listening to noise all the time (i don't bc my ears will probably hate me more than they already do).
