| Shake N' Stir
So a mix of stuff I've picked up recently, now with added deions! | 1 | | Misfits Walk Among Us
So the Misfits are every bit as *cool* as their legend. Catchy as hell early Hardcore, it's an increadbly dated sound, but who cares when the music is this awesome? | 2 | | Danzig Danzig II: Lucifuge
I just remeber this one video when Danzig is looking though his book collection and is like 'Oh and this one is on the anthropology of Evil' and just smiles. Oh Danzig. | 3 | | Running Wild Black Hand Inn
Yes, Running Wild, the seminal Pirate Metal outfit rampaging around with Black Hand Inn. It's a cute little album, but dosn't really do anything for me unfortunatley. | 4 | | Joanna Newsom Ys
Newsom has got just the most intruiging voices ever set downon record. It's like that one cereal... Snap, crackle and pop. Yet everything is more delicate than cracked glass. | 5 | | Raison d'etre Raison d'etre
Peter Andersson's Dark Ambient project, this is chilling to the bone. It's like walking to the gates of hell where the fires have all gone out long ago... | 6 | | Mesa Verde The Old Road
This is... well, put it this way - everytime they just about slip into being generic the they pull out something completely unexpected, and it's really quite cool. | 7 | | Amon Tobin Bricolage
Tobin's an electornica artist with an eye for uniqueness. It's not quite ambient or downtempo, but just swirlingly immersive with unexpted beats and samples gliding in and out the the soundscapes here. | 8 | | Pleiadians Identified Flying Object
There are few records that can compete with Hallucinogen's Twisted. This dosn't, by the way, but it comes as close as one could ask for. This is supposed to be one the the flameholders of goa trance, and for the most part, it really is. | 9 | | Basement Jaxx Remedy
Basment Jaxx have always managed to resist labels, but put them on with a proper DJ and watch the dacnefloor explode. Probably their best album, it's a mix of house and big beat, nothing way too facny, but a good listen once in a while. | 10 | | BT ESCM
Brian Transeau is a hell of an artist and ESCM is an absolute gem of Progressive House. It's melodic, atmospheric and very, very dancable. Not much else to ask for really. | |

10.17.08 | Wow! 1, 2, and 5 are pure class. Another Raison d' etre fan, major props. 3 is cool too, i'll check a few of these oput. | Doppelganger
10.17.08 | d'etre is elite | joshuatree
10.17.08 | 4 and 5 are awesome, and 7 is the best album I've ever gotten stoned to. that was a hell of a trip | Shadowskos
10.17.08 | 4 is amazing. | badtaste
10.17.08 | I love you for 1 and 2. | StreetlightRock
10.17.08 | Redsky: ESCM is actually really different, theres alot more of a trance/progressive house influence on it, and Binary pretty much discards that. |
