Gojira Was Awe-Inspiring

List is bands' sets ranked
3 The Devin Towsend Project
Epicloud

Although I'm not a huge fan of his music, he puts on a great live show. I only
caught a bit of his set when he was playing with Katatonia back in September, so I
was glad I got to have full experience this time. As usual, he made the crowd do a
lot of weird stuff. He also brought a little girl up on stage and showed her how to
do the jazz hands for "Lucky Animals".
2The Atlas Moth
An Ache for the Distance

I caught most of their set, and they sounded really tight. The slow and dramatic
riffs and drums fit well with the quiet singing and shrieking. I was impressed that
they could create the same atmosphere live that they created on An Ache for the
Distance.
1 Gojira
L'Enfant Sauvage

Listening Gojira's pummeling grooves was quite an experience. Mario Duplantier
blew my mind with his drum work throughout the entire set, especially during
his solo. It was cool getting to see him do vocals too.
