10.06.13 | Mono. In stereo, different instruments will be spread out to different channels, which makes the music fairly unlistenable through headphones. | Rowan5215
10.06.13 | Mono is easier to listen to and doesn't cut out the vocals or guitars on just one channel. But then the mono version also cuts the last minute of Helter Skelter which means there's no "I'VE GOT BLISTERS ON MAH FINGERS", a high price to pay. | wacknizzle
10.06.13 | Thought their later works might have been in Stereo so was gonna say stereo, but whatever I prefer stereo for The Beatles anyway. Mono for Bob Dylan though for sure | MUNGOLOID
10.06.13 | the differences between the two didn't really show until around rubber soul to sgt pepper.
the only real loss in mono is the shortened Helter Skelter. | manosg
10.06.13 | Lemmy's words must always be followed, so mono. | Realm
10.06.13 | i can't imagine listening to sgt pepper in anything other than stereo tbh
but that's cos i only listen to the lp on speakers. | Realm
10.06.13 | i feel like the stereo versions give more shimmer to individual instruments and vocals while the mono makes everything bleed together
neither are bad to my ears |
