I don't get what you mean by stolen cigarette=stolen ricin. Huell stole the ricin, which Jesse knew was missing - and even blamed walt for using saul/huell (correctly) initially. When he realized the weed was missing, he knew he had it in Saul's office and remembered Huell bumping into him. That, coupled with looking at his pack of cigarettes, made him think back to when the ricin went missing after he was in saul's office in ssn 4.
I don't see how it's a stretch at all, Jesse barely came around to believing Walt didn't poison Brock at the end of ssn 4. He almost killed him. It isn't exactly like he's taking some huge leaps here. |
