Some jams that don't have many ratings

Nothing crazy, just a short and intimate list of recs from me that seem to not have many ratings on this site. I linked whatever stream i could find in case you wanna check anything out. Hope ya find something dudes
1Big Bud
Late Night Blues

atmospheric drum and bass

Great drum and bass record that plays with a wide range of styles and influences. A laid back listen that glides by despite its relatively long length.

2Blown Out
New Cruiser

heavy psych

A heavy psych band that sets itself apart from others. The band’s status quo is finding a solid riff, sticking with it, and dragging it out in an almost hypnotic way. Loud swirling atmospherics really drag you in and you don’t even realize the songs’ runtimes.

3Brock Van Wey
White Clouds Drift On And On

ambient dub

Soothing and nice ambient dub. Really quite beautiful and some fantastic use of vocal samples really elevate some songs

4Dedekind Cut
$uccessor (ded004)

ambient/progressive electronic

I’m not quite sure how to describe this album. It’s range of moods is pretty diverse and can go from abrasive to quite pleasant. It’s like a night in the dark outdoors but your not anxious.

5Dred Scott
Breakin' Combs

boom bap/west coast hip-hop

Very tight and no-bs jazzy boom bap hip hop. Fun beats and bars, catchy hooks, certainly worth a listen for fans of this type of hip hop.

6Electric Orange
Krautrock From Hell

krautrock/psychedelic

While not as harsh as the title implies, this isn’t your usual krautrock album. It’s groovy and psychedelic, sure, but also makes use of some droning soundscapes and can be akin to unsettling lsd trip that has the grip strength of a croc’s maw.

https://electricorange.bandcamp.com/album/krautrock-from-hell
7Essoupi
Aktiv Dødshjælp

dungeon synth

While I'm not well versed in the genre, this feels like a great introduction into dungeon synth. Gather your friends and get that D&D campaign going, this can fit right in.

8Good Night and Good Morning
Narrowing Type

slowcore/ambient

A stunning and gorgeous slowcore album that borders on ambienty-post rock. Music for a warm summer night alone with a single lamp lit in your room.

https://ownrecords.bandcamp.com/album/narrowing-type
9Handsomeboy Technique
Adelie Land

plunderphonics/nu-disco

Can you dance to it? Probably not. But the album seems to embody the spirit of getting down and celebrating which makes for one hell of a time. A blast to listen to and an all around feel good sample-based record.

10Kasper Bjørke
The Fifty Eleven Project

post minimalism/drone

It’s a bit of a long album for some but your patience will be rewarded. One of my favorite minimalism albums ive heard in the 10s. It works like a lot of minimalism albums, but has a tinge of drone-y ambience which is something im always biased towards because i love that crap.

11Keeper
The Space Between Your Teeth

sludge metal/doom metal

Keeper put out a pretty crushing album here. High pitched shrieks accompany some devastating guitar chords and the result is a massive onslaught of hatred and filth.

https://keeperxdoom.bandcamp.com/album/the-space-between-your-teeth
12Nightslug
Loathe

sludgecore

A chunky hardcore album with some sludgey tones. The best way I can really describe Loathe is that it is dense and thick. It feels messy in the best way and comes off as a genuinely pissed. The slower songs are good but when the band picks up the pace is when they shine.

13Nik Bartsch's Ronin
Awase

ECM jazz/post minimalism

I really went into this album with no expectations and practically in a “ok whatever lets give this a shot” kind of way and came out pleasantly surprised. Every composition in Awase feels complete and rewarding. It mixes slower paced jazz with minimalist song structure and the results are some lovely musical pieces.

14Oh, Yoko
Seashore

ambient/house

Seashore is kind of like a 3 part EP. The first two songs are these absolutely beautiful ambient tracks (The first utilizing female vocals, the second being an instrumental version of the first song). The third track is a DJ Sprinkles ambient-house take on the title track and it too is excellent.

https://ohyoko.bandcamp.com/album/seashore
15Pausal
Lapses

ambient/drone

Lapses may not do anything specific to set itself apart from its contemporaries, but that doesn’t stop it from hitting all the right spots for me and simply being a very effective and tranquil drone album.

https://open.spotify.com/album/0qZqgtBgIndDuYWa1qHOMe
16The Psyke Project
Daikini

sludgecore

A sludgey harcore album that has banger after banger on it. The riffs are heavy and fun, the vocals fit perfectly, and the overall sound is just monstrous.

17Richard Devine
Cautella

idm/flashcore

An idm album that may seem chill and mellow but delves into unhinged madness at times. There’s really a bit of everything here. There’s some dnb, noise, ambient, idm, you name it. The best part though is that it all *works.*

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TbIvqe2Vvkw
18Shojoskip
Cosodorokitsune

shoegaze/dream pop

Weeby shoegaze that feels like a car ride to the beach. I have no idea what the vocalist is singing, but who cares, she has a nice voice and the melodies make me all warm and fuzzy.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eV4NNeTkbWE
19Spicelab
A Day On Our Planet

ambient trance

I’ll be honest, I don’t know what to write for this one you just have to trust me I guess? It’s a really really dope trance album made up of 4 tracks. I get outer space vibes.

https://oliverlieb.bandcamp.com/album/a-day-on-our-planet-lp-remastered
20Telepath
現実を超えて

vaporwave/ambient

One of my first vaporwave records. Telepath made an album that sounds like it belongs in a jazz lounge on the moon. It’s spacey, chilled out, and a super easy listen.

https://telepathtelepath.bandcamp.com/album/--12
21Tempest (Can)
Tempest

crust punk/blackened sludge

Unrelenting and dark, Tempest’s self titled is awesome. Each song feels huge despite the average track only being like 3 minutes long. Their brutal wall of sound is quite engrossing/atmospheric and raises this release far above any normal punk/harcore album.

https://tempestpunk.bandcamp.com/album/tempest
22Twells and Christensen
Coasts

drone/ambient

You’re in a forest in the mountains. It’s getting dark and the fog is settling in. You may not be in danger but you can’t escape that sense of anxiety. That’s the best way I can put the sound of this album into words.

No full stream available.

23Underworld and The Necks
Appleshine Continuum

progressive house/avant-garde jazz

I’m not familiar with Underworld’s other work but I’m a huge Necks fanboy. Underworld takes the Necks’ formula of expanding upon an idea into a single fleshed out lengthy track and it works out wonderfully here in my opinion. That piano section at the end is really where it’s at.

https://open.spotify.com/album/0wIOm85glyEHq9UchgXvgJ
24Windy and Carl
A Dream Of Blue

drone/space rock

I’ve been meaning to jam more of these fellas for a bit and I'm glad I started. This duo puts out some really ethereal and comfy music. If you like spacey droney ambienty music with some female vox, give this a whirl.

https://windyandcarl.bandcamp.com/album/a-dream-of-blue
25Yuragi
Nightlife

shoegaze/dream pop

More pretty/cozy weebgaze. This one’s a bit fuzzier though.
