Summer of Prog Finals

The battle we've been waiting for is here. One one side we have Carmen, a debut by a bunch of British glam-proggers who are seeped in British prog but also (not so secretly) wish they were Spanish. On the other side is Eden, an album seeped in German classical music, but also not so secretly wish they were British.

Fandangos in Space

"A fun mix of flamenco and progressive rock filled with exciting tales of gypsies and bullfights, this is a record which really deserves more attention from people." - Sharktooth

2Eden (GER)
Erwartung

"Eden is a second-wave symphonic prog band from Germany. Unlike their Krautrock predecessors, they embrace the more traditional beauty of Bach, Beethoven, and Wagner as much as the Moody Blues, King Crimson and Genesis. Erwartung is a concept album starting with the band's namesake, the biblical story of Eden, and ending with, like any good prog epic, the coming of the New Jerusalem." - Friday13th
