Potential 5.0's

It always takes me a million listens before deciding to bump an album to a perfect 5.0. List is current 4.5's that are good contenders to possibly make it to the top some day. This is WIP and in no particular order. Recs more than welcome.
1The Prodigy
The Fat of the Land

Nothing to do with the recent RIP, this has been on this list for years
2Mastodon
Remission
3Mastodon
Crack the Skye
4Burzum
Filosofem
5Death
Human
6Death
The Sound of Perseverance
7Sigur Ros
Agætis byrjun

I want to give these guys a 5 but I have a hard time calling any of their albums a perfect 5.0 even though they're amazing
8Sigur Ros
( )
9Mobb Deep
The Infamous
10Nas
Illmatic
11Steve Reich
Octet/Music For a Large Ensemble/Violin Phase
12 Steve Reich
Music for Mallet Instruments, Voices and Organ

Sput's database does not seem to have Six Marimbas, but it is such an excellent piece of music. Hard to see it as an 'album', though
13Radiohead
OK Computer
14Radiohead
A Moon Shaped Pool
15Thomas Koner
Daikan

Masterful drone/ dark ambient
16Godspeed You! Black Emperor
Lift Your Skinny Fists Like Antennas to Heaven

I love this but I also love F#A#8 so much more
17Unwound
Leaves Turn Inside You
18Kendrick Lamar
To Pimp a Butterfly
19Kendrick Lamar
Section.80

Underrated?
20Grouper
Dragging a Dead Deer Up a Hill

Discovered this only recently but loving it at the moment
21Grouper
Ruins
22I Hate Models
Warehouse Memories

The absolute definition of a techno banger. Groovy and brutal. It is not that ambitious an EP but I always come back to this. Note that I don't take Emmanuel's remix into account here.
23William Basinski
El Camino Real

Basinski is almost certainly going to get at least another 5.0 from me. The question is, which one?
24William Basinski
The Disintegration Loops I
25William Basinski
Watermusic II
26William Basinski
Cascade

The 5.0 potential is probably the lowest for this one
27The Flaming Lips
Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots

Listen to it rarely but love it every time
28Death Cab for Cutie
Transatlanticism

Same as above
29Tim Hecker
Haunt Me, Haunt Me Do It Again
30Kayo Dot
Choirs of the Eye
31Nujabes
Metaphorical Music
32King Crimson
In the Court of the Crimson King
33King Crimson
Red
34Off Minor
The Heat Death of the Universe
35Nthng
Remember Us

One of the first techno EPs I thoroughly enjoyed
36 Six Gallery
Underwater Paradise

Ambient/ field recording
37 Six Gallery
The Fogbound Island
38Animals As Leaders
The Madness of Many

This or the Joy of Motion. Jamming this one a lot more lately
39A Tribe Called Quest
The Low End Theory
40Meshuggah
I
41The Smiths
The Queen Is Dead
42The Dave Brubeck Quartet
Time Out
43Miles Davis
Kind of Blue
44Swans
Soundtracks for the Blind

Clearly the top contender from Swans but the other two hold their own
45Swans
To Be Kind
46Swans
The Seer
47Have a Nice Life
Deathconsciousness
48Pink Floyd
Animals

Yes I know how is this not a 5.0 already
49A Winged Victory for the Sullen
A Winged Victory for the Sullen
50Hallucinogen
Twisted

This one is a pretty remote possibility but idk it's fun I jammed it in the car and it was dope
51Mono / World's End Girlfriend
Palmless Prayer / Mass Murder Refrain

The exact opposite of the above. Have not listened to it in years but still think of it as a magnificent record
52Massive Attack
Mezzanine

Probably not a 5.0 but still cool
53Eminem
The Slim Shady LP

I find myself preferring this to the MM LP
54Cult of Luna
Somewhere Along the Highway

Can't really pick a favourite with these guys but I'd like to give them a 5. Picking this album for here because seeing it played at Roadburn was an absolute blast
55Isis
Panopticon

Can't decide between this and Oceanic but for some reason I listen to this one a lot more often
56Touche Amore
Parting The Sea Between Brightness And Me

Also would love to give these guys a 5.0. Can't decide between this and the rawer sound of their first album
57Slint
Spiderland
58Prurient
Frozen Niagara Falls

Probably an impulsive first listen reaction, but this felt like a unique staple of the noise genre
59Sigur Ros
Takk...

Don't listen to it as much as ( ) and Agaetis but I figured it deserves a spot on here
60Gnaw Their Tongues
L'arrivée de la Terne Mort Triomphante

Impulsive reaction [2] also the band name kills
61Erik Satie
Gnossiennes

I need some piano stuff in my 5's
62SUMAC
What One Becomes

Impulsive reaction [3]
63Tim Hecker
Radio Amor
64Cult of Luna
Salvation

Overtaking Highway as CoL's top contender, but not completely kicking it out quite just yet
65Cult of Luna and Julie Christmas
Mariner

Overtaking Salvation as CoL's top contender. One of the most unique post-metal albums out there, which gives it an edge over Salvation that sheer quality has a hard time to make up for
66State Faults
Clairvoyant

This is not truly a 5 contender yet - I'm not even positive it's a 4.5 right now -, but some parts of it feel like they could be a 5 so putting it out here because I want to revisit it when I update my 5's
67Pink Floyd
Live at Pompeii

This is a canon studio album that was just recorded outdoors, fight me
68John Coltrane
A Love Supreme

forgot this
69Radiohead
Kid A

and this
