auberginedreams 05.18.12	i hated the hacking system in the first one, it was too intrusive to the experience. i didn't feel like playing some dumb minigame everytime i wanted to hack something. i'm glad they simplified it.

Maniac! 05.18.12	The story wasn't even that bad. If it weren't a Bioshock game, nobody would complain about the story. However, people get too wrapped up in comparing it to the first, which was obviously much more engrossing. It was still a solid story for a linear shooter, as well as some fun gameplay. It wasn't a terrible game, it simply wasn't as engaging as the first.

No, I'm not contradicting my last post. I still think the story should come first for this series, I just don't think they did that poorly of a job.

Now that I know what happened, I don't really want to play it anymore but I hate that it feels like that since it was a great game.
ThunderNeutral21 05.18.12	bioshock 2 wasn't awful overall........but even if I didn't compare it to 1, I could still say the story wasn't good, the atmosphere wasn't engrossing, the characters weren't as interesting, and the game didn't feel as mysterious or cryptic as it seemed like it was supposed to. It was not a good game for me. If you do compare it to 1, it was atrocious. On its own, meh.

AlasKenColors 05.18.12	Alan Wake is pretty fun. I'm mainly wrapped up in Max Payne 3 and Gears of War 3, as well as the Witcher 2. I'm looking forward to primarily Bioshock Infinite and Resident Evil 6. Other than that, not many games cross my mind that i'm dying to get..i'm sure i'm missing some though.
AlasKenColors 05.18.12	Kind of liking watching Lost, you watch for the story and once you finish it. There's hardly any reason to go back and watch it all over again since you already know what's going to happen, as opposed to re watching episodes of comedies and stuff.

Wolfhorde 05.18.12	Idk, I believe I saw some in game pictures and they didn't really look like they're up the to technical standard (although.. games kind of aren't often anyway). Well, yeah Idk I was kinda expecting that D3 would have some real drags, it's Blizzard after all. They're not really all that different from EA. (so the auction house also doesn't surprise me) Might look into that.

anarchistfish 05.18.12	Halo 4 although the series has been meh since ~Halo 3. I'm still hopeful for a return to the Halo 1/2 style but my expectations are low. Might try out GTA V. Will get ACIII although AC:B and AC:R were both very tepid. Hopefully a completely new setting and story will refresh things again. TBH I never saw the hype for Bioshock. It was ok, but nothing amazing. I still have a shitload of games to play that I haven't even opened yet. Dead Space, DA:O, still need to finish Portal 2, Deus Ex HR, currently playing FNV & Skyrim, etc. Diablo 3 and Amnesia look cool but my computer's too shitty to run games so I can't afford a gaming PC just yet.
