Ranking The Beatles Discography

I've been in a Beatles mood lately. So I decided to rank all of their records. This list does change from time to time. I don't hate any Beatles album, there's just some I prefer more than others. So here I go.
1The Beatles
The Beatles

I actually didn't like this album when I first heard it. I was a big Beatles fan in High School. The records I would listen too mostly was Revolver, Abbey Road, Sgt. Peppers, Help, etc. When I got older and more mature, I started to like this album more and more. It eventually became my favorite. I love the atmosphere of this record. It's so unique, satisfying, and majestic. Yes it does have some filler but those songs grew on me, and some I considered to be ''great songs'' The White Album is a wonderful listen, all the way through. Tracks like Dear Prudence, Blackbird, Happiness Is A Warm Gun, While My Guitar Gently Weeps, Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da, etc. are such incredible songs. It's an album you need to listen too.

Favorite song: Dear Prudence
Rating: 10/10
2The Beatles
Abbey Road

Number 1 and 2 are interchangeable. These two are my favorite Beatles records. Abbey Road is my number 2 on this list. This album needs no introduction. It's well done, and the songs on here are certified classics. Anywhere from the production, songwriting, musicianship is all so well. It's so prolific and innovative. I have no bad words to say about this record other than it's one of the best albums ever made.

Favorite song: Golden Slumbers/Carry That Weight
Rating: 10/10
3The Beatles
Magical Mystery Tour

This album can seem a little bit high. I do somewhat agree with that. Magical Mystery Tour has something about it, that the other records don't. It's very psychedelic, it can seem slow at times. It's so creative, passionate, and thoughtful. The songs are on here bring out such despair and beauty. Its an album, I keep coming back too. It has something too it, that I love and it has Strawberry Fields Forever, which is my favorite Beatles song.

Favorite song: Strawberry Fields Forever
Rating; 10/10
4The Beatles
Revolver

This is a popular choice for number 1 and don't get me wrong, this album is mind blowing. However as of right now, I like the other 3 a tad more. Revolver was dynamic, consistent, and logical. The listening experience is so memorable and articulate. It's an album where you just want to listen to again and again. It has something about it, that pulls you in. Revolver is a classic album that proved that they were the biggest band in the world.

Favorite song: Eleanor Rigby
Rating: 10/10
5The Beatles
Rubber Soul

This is a really good album. It's different but it still has the interesting sound that all audiences can enjoy. Rubber Soul is one of the best written albums, and some songs on here are just beautiful. There's not much to say, it's an album that won't disappoint. That's why I have it in my top 5.

Favorite Song: In My Life
Rating: 9:8/10
6The Beatles
Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band

Yes I know this album is way to low. Don't get me wrong, this is still an amazing album. It's an album where it changed and inspired on music should sound. However, I listened to this album so many times. I kind of got bored with it. There's some tracks that I don't care for personally, they aren't bad, just not my cup of tea. Sgt. Peppers is a classic record and it's one of the most pleasant listening experiences you will ever go through as a music fan. I adore the atmosphere and production of this record, it's one of their best, in my opinion and I love the album artwork too.

Favorite Song: A Day In The Life
Rating: 9:6/10
7The Beatles
Help!

I always go back to this album for some reason. It's so creative and energetic. It's my favorite Beatles record in there early years. Songs like Ticket to Ride, Yesterday, and You've Got To Hide Your Away, are just examples on how great this album is.

Favorite Song: Ticket to Ride
Rating: 8:4/10
8The Beatles
Let It Be

The last album they released. For some reason at first, I never really got in this album at first. I started to listen to it again and it really changed my thoughts on this record. It's far from perfect, and it seems a tad rush. There was some conflict going on as well. The Beatles are geniuses, so they know how to put out phenomenal albums.

Favorite song: Across The Universe
Rating: 7:7/10
9The Beatles
A Hard Day's Night

A solid record all the way through, it has some of my favorite tracks on here. It just didn't impact me, as the other albums. All n all, it's a fantastic album.

Favorite song: If I Fell
Rating: 7:5/10
10The Beatles
Beatles for Sale

This record isn't for everybody, but I must say, that I really enjoy this record. Even though it has mainly covers. There's something about this record that I enjoy. It's quite different but unique. I respect that in music.

Favorite song: I'm A Loser
Rating: 7:2/10
11The Beatles
With the Beatles

This is a great album with some classics, I think it's a little bit better than there debut. I still think it faults in some ways. I think it's more mature than Please Please Me. The songwriting has improved immensely on here. This is a nice listen but definitely not a classic, in my personal opinion.

Favorite song: You Really Got A Hold On Me
Rating: 6:8/10
12The Beatles
Please Please Me

I acknowledge that this a debut record. Don't get me wrong, it's a fun album all the way through. It just doesn't have the magic like their other records.

Favorite song: Twist & Shout
Rating: 6.5/10
13The Beatles
Yellow Submarine

Quite underrated, but not one of their best. It has some decent songs, but it does fall flat at times. I like it but not of my favorites.

Favorite song: Only A Northern Song
Rating: 6/10
