(in alphabetical order) I think I did this once before years ago and deleted the list... probably will omit a few of the cheap Salvation Army/thrift finds and what not... I guess I have well over 100 albums now so I'll have to make a second list for the rest of them
1Altar of Plagues
Teethed Glory and Injury

(gatefold 2xLP @45RPM) very good atmospheric black metal band makes an amazing post-metal album... proud to have this at the front of my collection... RIP band
2Aphex Twin
Selected Ambient Works 85-92

(2xLP) essential classic - every home should have a copy - love me some ambient techno
3Autechre
Amber

(gatefold 2xLP) got these first three Autechre albums bundled when Warp reissued them all a few years back (no-brainer) - this is probably my least favorite of the bunch but still excellent
4Autechre
Incunabula

(gatefold 2xLP) these are probably Autechre's most accessible albums (this one in particular) so chill and comfy (clap-clap)
5Autechre
Tri Repetae

(2xLP) I'd call this one their magnum opus... still some level of accessibility (compared to a lot of what they'd release after this) but the music is really starting to sound like it was produced by machines, not by men.... (really wish I'd have snagged a copy of the 4xLP Exai boxset back when it came out...)
6B12
Electro-soma

(gatefold 2xLP orange vinyl) more ambient techno from Warp
7Bark Psychosis
Hex

pretty sure this was my introduction to "post-rock" back when I was in high school
8The Beatles
Rubber Soul

brand new reissue of what is probably my favorite Beatles that my mom bought for me a number of years back when I first started collecting
9Black Sabbath
Paranoid

actually have two copies of this... initially bought a new repress on an off-label just because this is another essential classic, but ended up seeing an older Warner Bros. copy years later that had the original gatefold packaging and had to buy it again.....
10Blue Oyster Cult
Blue Öyster Cult

debut from a good old-school hard rock/heavy metal band... my dad gave me this one when I was starting off, pretty sure he found it at a local emporium
11Boards of Canada
Music Has the Right to Children

(gatefold 2xLP with braille that I can't read) hey more Warp
12Boards of Canada
Tomorrow's Harvest

(gatefold 2xLP) cool photography all along the inside of the gatefold and on the inserts as well that compliments the post-apocalyptic vibe/theme on this album
13Boards of Canada
Twoism

very partial to this early BoC release... not sure why... might be that this seems a bit bleaker and colder than a typical BoC full-length
14David Bowie
Low
15David Bowie
Station to Station
16James Brown
The Payback

(gatefold 2xLP)
17Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds
From Her To Eternity

nastiest Bad Seeds is nasty
18Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds
Your Funeral... My Trial

(gatefold 2xLP @45RPM)
19Phil Collins
Face Value

(gatefold) pretty sure I found this in Salvation Army for a couple bucks (I'm sure every Salvation Army has a copy or two)... worth it for "In the Air Tonight" alone, but if I remember correctly, the album wasn't all that bad as a whole
20Creedence Clearwater Revival
Cosmo's Factory

my mom gave me this one... probably just a cheap find she stumbled across in her journeys because that woman LOVES her fucking thrift stores... "Run Through the Jungle" is my jam though
21Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young
Crosby, Stills & Nash

(gatefold) another nice, cheap Salvation Army find
22Darkside
Psychic

(2xLP @45RPM)
23John Denver
Greatest Hits

my dad gave me this one... I know he's a John Denver fan - not sure if he had an extra copy or picked it up somewhere (I doubt he gave me his copy lol)
24Deftones
Diamond Eyes

(white vinyl) owls kill
25Dinosaur Jr.
Bug

hard to believe they were able to follow up You're Living All Over Me with an album that is nearly as good
26Dinosaur Jr.
You're Living All Over Me
27Eric Dolphy
Out to Lunch!

not sure if this will ever click with me... just wanted to add some Blue Note to my collection
28The Doors
The Doors

got this at the emporium... probably the single most battered, twisted, warped record I have (still jams).... hope playing it doesn't do my stylus harm
29Bob Dylan
Blonde on Blonde

(gatefold 2xLP) I may or may not have pulled out multiple used copies of this at the record store and swapped in/out the sleeve that appeared to be in best condition with the vinyls that appeared to be in the best condition.... I am going to hell
30Bob Dylan
Blood on the Tracks

lol this was an unpleasant surprise on first listen because I realized that the album I'd been listening to for years before, thinking it was original Blood on the Tracks, was actually almost all alternate versions (NY Sessions, I think).... so when I spun this I was like "WHY THE FUCK ARE ALL THE SONGS DIFFERENT!?" but yeah probably always gonna prefer the NY Sessions because of that, check'em out if you haven't, superior versions of a lot of the tracks IMO
31Bob Dylan
Bringing It All Back Home
32Bob Dylan
New Morning
33Earth
Earth 2: Special Low Frequency Version

(2xLP) massive sound... but it doesn't crush you - it envelops you
34Earth
Full Upon Her Burning Lips

(gatefold 2xLP crimson/black-swirl/splatter vinyl)
35Emerson, Lake and Palmer
Tarkus

(gatefold)
36Brian Eno
Here Come the Warm Jets

really need to get a copy of Another Green World - been meaning to for years... this is still a great album but in a completely different style
37Flying Lotus
Cosmogramma

(gatefold 2xLP) more Warp!!! this time with 50% more bonkers!!
38Flying Lotus
Until the Quiet Comes

(2xLP)
39Fugazi
Red Medicine
40Fugazi
Repeater
41Genesis
A Trick of the Tail

(gatefold)
42Genesis
Wind & Wuthering
43Godflesh
Hymns

(gatefold 2xLP orange vinyl) massive sound (but it does crush you)
44Godflesh
Love and Hate in Dub

(black/cream swirl vinyl) first Godflesh record I bought (just stumbled upon it at a local head shop/record store shortly after falling in love and couldn't say no)... too bad a couple tracks from the CD are omitted on here
45Godflesh
Pure

(gatefold 2xLP gold/black swirl vinyl, included a double-sided poster and multiple inserts, even has print on the inside of the packaging where the records are stored) likely my most prized/treasured record (but the neighbors won't be pleased).... might be the heaviest most massive (monolithic) relentless crushing thing in my collection
46Godflesh
Selfless

(empyreal blue vinyl) crushing, yet so soulful
47Godflesh
Songs of Love and Hate

(gold vinyl) now with 50% more groove
48Grizzly Bear
Horn of Plenty

(translucent with black splatter vinyl)
49Horseback
Piedmont Apocrypha

not my favorite Horseback album but hadn't even known this was a thing when I stumbled upon it so figured I'd check it out
50Iggy Pop
The Idiot

love this - really need to check out his next record
51jesu
Ascension

(gatefold 2xLP) got this on impulse when it was reissued a couple years back.... kind of a bummer... I didn't realize just how much Justin had altered it with the new mixes/mastering (so significantly altered to the point where this basically feels like him doing a cover album of his own album)... not pleased, prefer original
52jesu
Christmas

(translucent ice blue vinyl) beautiful packaging and record (and the JK FLESH remix, which I had not heard until I got this physical copy, is dope)
53jesu
Conqueror

(2xLP translucent clear vinyl) simultaneously hopeful and hopeless
54jesu
Everyday I Get Closer to the Light from Which I Came

I need to order a copy of Terminus
55jesu
Lifeline EP

(gold/black split vinyl) this was a pleasant surprise of a find and hearing it on vinyl made me fall in love even more
56Jesu/Eluvium
Jesu/Eluvium

another pleasant surprise of a find
57Jesu/Sun Kil Moon
Jesu/Sun Kil Moon

(gatefold 2xLP) underrated project - I really need to get some more Kozelek in my collection
58The Jimi Hendrix Experience
Axis: Bold as Love

(gatefold) another gift from my mom
59Kansas
Point of Know Return

another thrift find
60Killing Joke
Absolute Dissent

(gatefold 2xLP orange vinyl with poster)
61Killing Joke
Night Time

killer album right here
