Just look at how different the Mormons are to the Catholics and the Jehovah's Witnesses and the Baptists for example. They are all Christian denominations, but most of them don't consider the others to be so. So yes, the No True Scotsman fallacy applies when you claim someone isn't a "real Christian" because they have a different interpretation of the Bible to you, or aren't acting in a way that you believe the Bible encourages you to act.

But in the US there are a significant percentage of evangelicals who are quite hateful and cause a lot of harm to specific groups of people - particularly the LGBT community. Not to mention the damage inflicted at school in certain areas where kids don't learn the science about evolution or cosmology. I guess a lot of the anger you talk about is directed at those groups, which, I admit is hardly fair to those Christians who are tolerant and respectful, but at the same time, these groups often bring it on themselves; pastors telling the LGBT community they will burn in hell and should be executed, etc.

combustion07 06.26.22	Our Government setup has been shit for quite some time not just based on the system itself but also based on how well the division of our people has been driven clear out to the moon by the near constant barrage of hot button topics like this that very obviously cause more division and instantly lead to arguing in mass. It's become very clear over the past decade or so on social media and whatnot that these arguments are near pointless to engage in because no matter how hard you try in the end nobody is going to change their stance and it's basically just brick walls typing angrily at each other. On the note of a third party the idea seems nice but seems nearly impossible at this point. In order for that to happen you'd need a huge group of people to pull their heads out of their asses that are overly dedicated to their side already. You'd probably also need many of the people who don't have their heads planted in their ass to go that route too and sadly I think many of them lost their faith in the system here long ago many of whom probably don't bother voting at this point and even if they do probably don't care enough to take action just due to seeing how far gone things have been in this realm.
