ChuckyTruant 08.17.13	I have alpha one anatitrypsin deficiency. It's hereditary so my dad, one of my aunts and both my little brothers have it as well. Basically it's where your liver does one of the following: produces the incorrect chemical to protect your lungs from all the shit you breathe in; or it does not produce it at all. Basically I can't ever smoke anything at all cause my lungs will fail very quickly

tommygun 08.17.13	yeah kman i know exactly what you mean, i've been there myself you just gotta keep putting yourself out there and not avoiding social situations cos that just makes it worse just remember that people you interact with are just as fucked up as you are in their own ways and could well be nervous as hell too if you are open and warm and friendly with people they respond to it keep making the effort and it pays off man, then one day you realise that it's not even an effort anymore and you're not bothered by anything and it feels great

Sulbutiamine – In higher does sulbutiamine will cause anxiety, so less is more when considering what your dosage should be while supplementing sulbutiamine. Low doses of sulbutiamine eliminate anxiety, and enhance mood — possibly even a slight euphoria. This supplement is also a stimulant in higher doses, combined with L-Theanine it can be rather pleasant and definitely a great two o’clock pick me up

You only eat candy bars, if you have low blood sugar. I guess I got it from my parents since they developed it while living in a war torn country. All three of us take medication and it's really helped.

GABA-a agonists should be better for constant use, though it will take a few weeks of dosage before you really notice the effects on your social anxiety.

jdennis31 08.17.13	the internet disagrees with you, and now I'm sort of ashamed of putting it out there before doing more research into it. withdrawal symptoms seem pretty bad, and tolerance seems real easy to build. although, alot of these fuckers seem to be really dumb and using it 3-5 times a week at really high dosages. i'm reading other people who cycle on and off phenibut saying its not bad.

If you use it as a drug of choice, you might be in for some trouble, but anyone with any sense wouldn't turn to a GABA agonist for recreation. (For the sake of other people on here I'll note that GABAergics are the only class of drugs that can kill you from withdrawal alone.) I use it sporadically, and sometimes for days at a time and I've never really had any withdrawal effects whatsoever. Maybe slight psychological effects, but that's it. I haven't ever really had GABA withdrawal symptoms even after 6 months of 10+ times daily GBL usage, or the year that I drank a box of wine every day. I may just be lucky in that regard.

However in a small amount of cases symptoms can range from being mild to severe. Essentially it means if my liver becomes stressed (through drinking alchohol or eating certain foods) my chemical levels in my liver can go haywire and it can make me quite ill for a day or two. In most respects its not bad in the three years since the onset i've been hospitalised twice mainly because i didnt know how to control it. But now i've stopped drinking and eat a healthy diet its pretty much under control.
