DinosaurJones 03.22.16	I don't often do it. And when I do, it's usually only by .5 It's commonly when I rate an album after only one or two listens, and then realize I like it either a little more or less than I initially though.
magicuba 03.22.16	I rarely change them, because I rate an album only after 3-4 listenings so my openion does not usually change much unless the album is a grower. For example Album that i have progressively raised over time are unwound- leaves, altar of plagues- teethed glory ; which are albums that are quite complex and that require time to fully understand the various nuances they contain

Mister Twister 03.22.16	here's one from the same day, no time codes so it's basically guesswork which is older http://www.sputnikmusic.com/review/705/Spiral-Architect-A-Sceptics-Universe/ for an answer to the question, all the fucking time, some of the albums I rated were from when I was like 14 or 15 and I was REALLY generous with my ratings, so I've completely changed my mind since then other times, things just grow on or off me for examples, Stargazer went from a 4.5 to a 2 to a 3.5, From This Day Forward went from a 3 to a 4.5, etc.
Pavera 03.22.16	pretty frequently right now -- mostly cause I've never actually had a sputnik account until late last year so I still don't really know how certain albums fit into the rating system for me. plus as I slowly rate more things I gotta go back through re-rate things as I begin to understand what I actually think a 4.5/3.5/2.5 etc sounds like. But yeah usually things only change incrementally by like .5

Sowing 03.22.16	Too often. I feel like my taste is pretty much always evolving. I change ratings throughout the year, and then sometimes do a total wipe every few years and just re-rate because it becomes too much of a chore to edit everything I feel differently about.

Dylan620 03.22.16	When I'm just getting into an album I'll often give it a holding rating after one or two listens and it will usually gradually go up in time. I usually do .5 increments but sometimes I've done larger adjustments, such as when I bumped Muse's The 2nd Law up by a full point a couple months ago (from a 2 to a 3, and again to a 3.5 shortly after), and when I bumped Guns N' Roses' Chinese Democracy down 1.5 points several years ago (from a 4 to a 2.5)
DoofusWainwright 03.22.16	Not too much movement in my ratings - gave a few 3.5's and 4's a 0.5 pts promotion recently for good behaviour 5's and anything 2.5 or below rarely change, the lady is not for turning

wham49 03.22.16	I change after I listen to the album again and feel I misrepresented my feelings of it, or when somebody changes my mind about something, otherwords not very fucking often, but I am working on it I would say that people change them too much, stand up for your ratings and defend them, don't be a bitch
worthlessscab 03.22.16	when I change my rating system. last time was an year ago everything is always going lower and lower. Since no one cares how bad a bad album is I wonder if I should just put everything below average on 1, 1.5 to be average and from there everything getting progressively better

Danred97 03.22.16	Every once in a while. I usually rate an album after one or two listens, and upon repeated listens if I find myself enjoying it more or less, I'll change it. I also go back at the end of the year and relisten to the albums that came out that year, so that I have my definitive rating for the end of the year.

magicuba 03.24.16	where did you find this kind of data? Did you collect it album after album or did you find an overarching list?
macman76 03.24.16	I scraped it from the html of each page with a script written in R programming language using the XML package which can find external links On webpages as well as download data from tables of a webpage, I downloaded data from the review and sound off page of every album reviewed by a staff member, my slow computer and the non-optimized-for-time code took about 18 hours to get this all. I didn't cause the slowdown, if you're wondering, I scraped this all like 5 days ago and I plan on doing more lists with this data.
