tectactoe 01.18.20	Lovely list. Most excited about 19 and 23 (!!), the second of which reminds me so much of my father who passed away a few years before NCTH was released. Couldn’t listen to that song without sobbing for a while. Surprised you went with ‘An Introduction’ over ‘Dendron’ but honestly that album is loaded with great tracks. Interesting Blackstar pick, too but I guess it’s the same—all tracks are amazing.

Rowan5215 01.19.20	tec, sorry to hear that. song definitely evokes memories of a friend who died for me too and is a hard listen. absolutely one of the greatest pop-punk songs though, it's magnificent Dendron rules. so does Soft Animal which was really close to making this, but An Introduction is iconic to me at this point. vocally and melodically they haven't touched it imo Blackstar was a hard album to pick from. I like the title track and Lazarus as much as the next person, but honestly, Dollar Days is the one song where I feel like I'm hearing the work of a... human being, and not the borderline-myth alien we all made Bowie out to be by the end, leaving elaborate clues about his own death and all that. Dollar Days has always made me really emotional for that reason, it's like one last desperate cry for a bit of human connection - and it's just a lovely song
