| Top 10 Blink + Blink projects
Because it's the holidays and I'm bored + it's blink nostalgia night | 1 | | Blink-182 Cheshire Cat
Carousel: forever a classic. everything about how sloppy and badly recorded this song is just makes it infinitely more charming. one of their best live songs and very rightly led to a re-issue of the Greatest Hits when they omitted this song the first time round. iconic | 2 | | Blink-182 Blink-182
Stockholm Syndrome: probably """objectively""" their best song, Stockholm is technically the most accomplished sound Blink ever captured while still being emotional as fuck. The bridge with Mark screaming is about as close as they ever got to all-out emo feels, yet it's backed by a superb atmosphere and rhythm that makes the most of untitled's polished sound. | 3 | | +44 When Your Heart Stops Beating
Chapter 13: The closer to +44's only album shows Mark slowing down and growing up in a heartbreaking way. Chapter 13 is one of the most cynical, downbeat songs of any blink-related project, but it brings with it a self-assured maturity that puts this song right up there with Blink's best. | 4 | | Box Car Racer Box Car Racer
Tiny Voices: this is just a fucking jam. although the Fugazi influence didn't end up showing through on the BCR record as much as it could have, Tiny Voices is the best example of Tom embracing dynamics, ambience and contrast to create something that could never have happened in Blink. Also has one of his best choruses, if not the best ever. | 5 | | Blink-182 Greatest Hits
Not Now: Absolutely Tom's best song with Blink and almost his best ever. The sound is absolutely massive in every way, and the almost biblical feel of the lyrics give its more weight than your typical song about a girl. | 6 | | Blink-182 Take Off Your Pants and Jacket
Everytime I Look For You: lowkey one of Mark's best ever songs. The back-and-forth with Tom in the pre-chorus is one of his best touches (and a clear precursor to Stockholm Syndrome) and the guitar sound in the bridge is about as heavy as a pop-punk band has ever sounded. | 7 | | Box Car Racer Box Car Racer
Letters to God: It wouldn't be long before Tom was overproducing the shit out of his voice and writing about space, but before that happened he gave us one last raw, heartfelt song that explodes with the force of a hurricane two minutes in. This is a fan favourite for a damn good reason, and there was absolutely unequivocally never a sequel made to it by anyone ever. | 8 | | Blink-182 Enema of the State
Dysentery Gary: Although I fall in the Mark Camp overall, there's no denying that on Enema Tom was the absolute king and all six of his songs still stand as some of his most concentrated work ever. Dysentery is the best of those, a hilarious, adrenaline-fuelled banger that unusually takes a breather in the middle for Mark to deliver an emotional verse. | 9 | | Angels and Airwaves The Dream Walker Demos
Putting any AVA song on here is kinda blasphemy, but hear me out. The Wolfpack demo #1 is easily one of his best songs, and with a chunky riff it could slide right in to the Box Car Racer record. Tom drops the vague spaceisms and cheesy bullshit for once and delivers some real talk about his relationships, leading to a chorus where he's almost screaming his heart out. It's a fucking tune. | 10 | | Blink-182 Take Off Your Pants and Jacket
Fuck A Dog.
not but for real, my number 10 goes to Man Overboard. One of the best riffs in their catalogue, fantastic interplay between Mark and Tom, and this is probably the first song in their catalogue to draw on some real-world inspiration (namely Scott Raynor's departure) which gives us some genuinely good lyrics for the first time. | 11 | | Blink-182 Blink-182
Honourables: Dammit (Mark Tom and Travis Show version), Emo, Depends (lol), Lycanthrope, The End With You, so many more | |

08.22.16 | I Miss You is great, top 30 maybe but I wouldn't put it higher | theNateman
08.22.16 | I miss you is a tad bit overplayed for me. I still love it tho.
I'll stand by my belief that their best song is down. That chorus of. "tidal waves they rip right through me, tears from eyes worn cold and sad" gets me everytime. It works so well because of its ambiguity. It's work well for a breakup, but it could also be dealing with a dying loved one, a broken friendship, dealing with oneself while being massively depressed, it could be anything really | Rowan5215
08.22.16 | Down is fantastic agreed some of Tom's best guitar and the drum outro is magnificent | zakalwe
08.22.16 | Transplants - that one tune they did that was borderline god awful > | onionbubs

08.22.16 | Violence isn't my 1 just cos the chorus is way too repetitive but the first minute is definitely up there with the best shit blink ever did. should've put Dumpweed in honourables damn | DinosaurJones
08.22.16 | Down is possibly my favorite Blink tune as well. | Pheromone

Frank coverin blink now eh? | guitarded_chuck
08.22.16 | hah dont mind me monday morning and that | guitarded_chuck
08.22.16 | i always thought the lyric was "her dad" not "my dad" and i always found that super funny and relatable because even tho my gfs dad would never say that to me that's def the impression i get from him, im just some young dumb shit like mark dating his high quality daughter and hes like wut | donttakeapicture
09.24.17 | Good their's nothing from California on here, as it should be. Everything on that was alright at best. |
