Diggin this disc. Some songs here are amazing, while some are forgettable. | 1 | Dream Theater Breaking All Illusions
Reminds me of the old, progressive, well-structured DT. Its upbeat, long, and original. Love it. | 2 | Lost Not Forgotten
This really grew on me, its like Under a Glass Moon, but heavier. | 3 | Outcry
Technical, crazy, and progressive. Reminded me of Dance of Eternity, so thats a plus. Definetly a "grower" as well. | 4 | This is the Life
I like it when DT gets emotional. This song has meaning to it, something I could not say about many songs off of their past three CD's. | 5 | Bridges in the Sky
Good song, a little wierd in the beginning, but I got past that. Heaviest song on the album, which can be good and bad for Dream Theater. | 6 | On the Backs of Angels
Although I listened to this song a million times a day when it was released, it never got old. Classic DT track. | 7 | Beneath the Surface
It's a good ballad and album closer, but it just seems cheesy to me. However, its still memorable and I couldn't see the album close any other way. | 8 | Build Me Up, Break Me Down
I LIKE this song, but I don't LOVE it. It's pretty mainstream and pop-friendly, for a DT song. Still good, I might add. | 9 | Far from Heaven
It's an ok song. I think I'm gonna find myself skipping this to get to Breaking All Illusions in the future, but it is a good intro to the song. | |
