10.22.11 | No love for Della Brown? Aw, come on. Good list though. That's really the only glaring omission, imo. |
TheNotrap
10.22.11 | I do love Della Brown. Geoff Tate's performance on that song is great (as usual) |

10.22.11 | Operation: Mindcrime is one of the best albums of the '80s regardless of genre. An absolute masterpiece. And because it's a concept album, it needs to be listened to in its entirety to be appreciated. |
AsoTamaki
10.22.11 | He sounds amazing on the Unplugged version of that song too. I always thought their MTV Unplugged never got the recognition it deserved. One of my favorites for sure. |
TheNotrap
10.22.11 | @AsoTamaki
Indeed. I don't have their MTV unplugged, only some songs that come as bonus tracks on the remastered editions. The Killing Words unplugged version, recorded at London in 94 is also amazing.
@andrikos
Definitely. You have good taste dude.
ABSOLUTE MASTERPIECE

12.09.11 | Got Operation: Mindcrime a few weeks ago, including a live performance of the whole album on a second disc. Absolutely loving it, 'Eyes of a Stranger' and 'I Don't Believe in Love' are probably my favourites too.
Nice taste Notrap m/ |

12.09.11 | Eyes of a Stranger is the best song of the 80's metal scene hands down. Love that solo too. |
TheNotrap
12.09.11 | @GnFnRs87
Thanks dude

Operation: Mindcrime in my humble opinion is one of the greatest metal records ever released.
Eyes of a Stranger, I Don't Believe in Love, Breaking the Silence, Speak and Suite Sister Mary are my fav but all record rules damn hard.
@KjSwantko
Indeed. That song is an absolute gem.
Tate's performance on that song is unbelievably great. |
