My High School Experience

Something I've kinda wanted to do for a while, hate me all you want.
1Freshman Year
Brother, Sister

My freshman year was in high school was kinda weird. I was adapting to a completely different teaching environment and class structure, just when puberty was kicking in. Needless to say, no girl would touch me that year. Adding on to that was the fact I was at a Baptist Christian school. I was still brainwashed at the time, so I didn't know any better. I was definitely a Grade A nerd for sure when it came to school, but at least my athleticsm started to kick in. My 9th grade basketball team only won three games, but the varsity soccer team I made as a freshman went to the state semifinals and lost in penalty kicks. One of the most bitter memories I've had. Year marked the introduction to my favorite band ever, mewithoutYou (haters keep hating).
Subseven: The EP most nostalgic song for me ever. Hands down. Reminds me of years being forced to listen to Christian music with the occasional exceptions being my dad's Pink Floyd and Queen records.
Failure On

Pretty sure this was my favorite song at the time.
End of Silence Can't believe I thought I was cool.
6Sophomore Year
Discovering the Waterfront

I began to branch out my music taste. I transitioned from average Christian rock to some post-hardcore and metalcore. For some reason, rap never appealed to me. To this day, I rarely listen to any rap at all. This year also had some noteable moments. My mom decided it was "God's will" to divorce my dad for no reason and throw my family's money in the shitter. This was when I first began to question the whole "God" thing *cough cough* someguest. She also decided it was "God's will" to quit her job and devote her life to ministry, sitting at home all day reading the Bible and such. Yawn. My soccer team didn't make the playoffs at all (rebuilding year), and my 10th grade basketball team? Lol.
8A Day To Remember
For Those Who Have Heart

This song reminds me of my 10th grade year for some reason
Define the Great Line SWAGGER BROOOO
10Junior Year
11The Word Alive

I wasn't at my indie stage yet, and I had my first introduction to electronica. Wasn't too into it yet. This was definitely my metalcore/scene stage. This year was pretty good actually. Took my studies seriously, scored a 1500 on the SAT (slightly above average, I'm not complaining), and people actually wanted to hang out with me. My voice didn't crack anymore, my acne disappeared, and girls actually wanted to talk to me?? My mind was blown. Still had my doubts about Christianity. Varsity basketball team lost in the region championship, and then lost in the first round of the playoffs. Soccer team did the same.
His Last Walk

This album still rules to me
13As Cities Burn
Son, I Loved You At Your Darkest half of the student section for the girls basketball team HEYYYOOOO, I hope you are able to pick me out of this.
14Senior Year CLASS OF '11 BABYYYY
15Say Anything
...Is a Real Boy

Senior year. Holy shit. One of the best years of my life. Had too much fun, got into a lot of trouble, and made some amazing memories. This is when I got into the party scene as well. It was in the last semester of this year when I made up my mind on religious matters, and pretty much left me where I am now. Agnostic, bitter, and hypocritical. Soccer team was runner up in region and lost to the state champions in the playoffs ( Basketball team lost in the region championship as well and lost to the state champions in the playoffs. Bright spot in the season was getting to play a game in Phillips Arena (where the Atlanta Hawks play).
Untrue hay baby
17Senses Fail
The Fire

My theme song throughout the year
Watch Out!

My basketball season theme song

Here I am now almost done with my freshman year of college: future alcoholic, ex-stoner, hipster, pre-med, fucking bitches, getting money.
20Trophy Scars
Never Born, Never Dead

My first kinda serious list on the site, sup Sputnik?
