Deathconscious 07.30.19	Jesus, was indie your only genre back in the day? Not making fun, i cant talk, middle school and high school i was pretty much listening strictly to metal.

foxblood 07.30.19	it wasn't my only genre but it was my main interest in middle school/beginning of high school. I was into metal too but pretty much just black metal like Carpathian Forest and folk metal like Ensiferum or Finntroll. I didn't get into death metal until a few years later.

SandwichBubble 07.30.19	Indie is more essential than water and air, it's scientifically true. 2000s were magic, but I'm proud to say that I've finally gotten into the 2010s indie groove. Just in time for the whole damn decade to be over. Gotta be quicker next decade.

FadedSun 07.31.19	Only band I know from this list is Okkervil River, because I recall seeing a girl one time at a bus stop with the album art for "Don't Fall In Love with Everyone You See" on her arm, with the words above it. I kept looking at it, and it bugged me because I kept thinking "why would she get those words tattooed on her arm? She must have a problem falling too easily or something." Looked it up. Oh, it's an indie band.

I feel that most E6 bands save for a few have fallen into obscurity undeservedly: The Minders Ulysses Beulah Dressy Bessy Circulatory System The Sunshine Fix ...and less popular albums by some of the more well-known bands, like Of Montreal's 'Cherry Peel'.
SandwichBubble 08.03.19	E6 forever, for sure. Tons of great groups. And any Cherry Peel fan is a friend of mine. And I checked Shapes and Sizes and while the one here is really good, their next album just floored me. It's so damn 2007, I love it. Thanks for bringing them to my attention fox.
foxblood 08.04.19	Cherry Peel is still Of Montreal's best album imo. Bands like Circulatory System and Beulah still get a little recognition but are too unknown now. I'll have to check that one sandwich

SandwichBubble 08.05.19	Look on the bright side: when indie becomes fashionable again in 20 years, we'll be ahead of the curve and everyone's gonna be sooooo jealous and want to be our friends. I did add most of the stuff from your first list to my personal "to check" list, so I'll probably go through more of those bands before I continue on with this one. But just know I appreciate this list's existence.
