Masochist 05.13.11	Whether you like Sputnik bands/albums/music or not is entirely up to you. The reason they're called "Sputnik Bands" is because an overwhelming amount of users here enjoy them. But REALLY, I take it to mean albums that are truly enjoyed here more than most other websites, or more than in real life. Albums like maudlin of the Well's 'Bath', or Kidcrash's 'Jokes' or Edge of Sanity's 'Crimson' (and I'm certain Devin Townsend's 'Deconstruction' is going to end up among those). It can definitely include albums that seem to end up on every list and recommendation chart, though, like Brand New's 'TDAGARIM' or Converge's 'Jane Doe' or any Opeth album.

Puzzles 05.14.11	Super elite shit that nobody has ever heard of, which takes 20 listens to "get" meaning that the mainstream audience do not. Most Sputnik Music cannot be bought in stores because these bands are so unknown, which is often the main point of appeal as members of Sputnikmusic need to make themselves feel "individual" and use their tastes in music as an outlet for this.
