My Favorite ten albums.

Bands I love.
10Motion City Soundtrack
Commit this to Memory

I used to not like this band, specifically the song Everything is Alright but,
my brother eventually got into them and got me into them. Also extremely
catchy, fun, and reflective. My favorite song would have to be Feel Like
Rain.
9Jimmy Eat World
Bleed American

Bleed American is a lot brighter than its successor, it's an incredibly catchy and cool. My favorite song would
have to be Sweetness.
8The Shins
Chutes Too Narrow

Now-a-days, Indie Alt. Rock bands have to be depressing and lame as shit.
Chutes Too Narrow was like seeing an awesome kid's movie. You know the
kind where you wonder why they made it for kids. Well obviously this band
wasn't made for Kids, it was made for me. My favorite song would have to
be Turn a Square.
7Alien Ant Farm
ANThology

Back when I was much younger, I loved two bands Alien Ant Farm
and....Nickelback. As I grew older I continued to listen to one of those
bands non-stop and never stopped enjoying them with each new album.
Can you guess which one it was? ANThology is my favorite album by them,
but it obviously not the best. Their best album would have to be TruANT. My
favorite song would have to be Stranded.
6 Three
Paint By Number

Three is one of those bands where every album is so similar in quality and
style where saying one is better than another can often be difficult. Much
like Act ll with The Dear Hunter. If I would've never gotten into this album I
may never have listened to the others. Favorite song has to be Blood of
The Blankets.
5Minus the Bear
OMNI

Extremely danceable, before this album Minus the Bear was a band I
enjoyed but I would've never described as a "Favorite". OMNI is a great
listen from Beginning to End. Favorite song would have to be Hold Me
Down.
4Mastodon
Blood Mountain

The First album I ever listened to by Mastodon, and I loved for it's ability to
go hard into a riff then transition into a dream-like guitar hook. Favorite
song on this album is Sleeping Giant.
3 The Dear Hunter
Act ll: The Meaning Of, And All Things Regarding Ms. Leading

I really could've chose either Act ll or Act lll for this one. I chose Act ll mainly
because it was the album that first got me into the band. Such great piano
work, awesome lyrics. It's like a musical made just for me.
2Between the Buried and Me
Colors

The hardcore nature of this band is as I would describe only "one side of
the coin". The truth is this band has the ability to be downright awe-
inspiring. What some can do with a grand piano or a violin, BTBAM has
found a way to do with electric guitars and synthesizers. Every portion of
this band is perfectly constructed to fit the light and the heavy. Every song
on this record is different, but they're all a journey. Each song could be it's
own album, it's own sound, yet for some reason they're all featured on one
cd for our listening pleasure. If I really wanted to give the simplest reason
possible for why this album is picked, all I would have to say is White Walls.
So, White Walls. Nuff' Said. I think my Favorite song is pretty obvious on
this one.
1Coheed and Cambria
In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth: 3

My first and second selections are interchangeable really. I think I went
with In keeping because when I was 14, I listened to it non-stop. It shaped
the person I am musically. I didn't listen to anything else but Coheed and I
believe this is their best album. Favorite song would have to be The
Crowing.
