KjSwantko 04.11.12	@Aso, I think they're more dangerous than people think, but they've still got no shot at winning besides the whole team getting hot at the same time. positives: -their PP is good (7th in the league).....but NJD is the #1 ranked PK in the league -they're decent defensively (12th in the league) -the fact they're huge underdogs could be benefit them. negatives: -terrible offense (ranked 27th in the league) -their PK is terrible (ranked 25th in the league) -they're allowed more goals than they've scored (197 for, 216 against) -just average goaltending in Theodore (.917 S%, 2.46 GAA) ...hate to tell ya man but NJD should crush them pretty easy.....but we all love a good upset.
KSK1 04.11.12	If Theodore turns on his game it could be a good series. They need to shut down Kovulchuk, Parise and Clarkson otherwise the three of them will be dancing in on a goaltender with almost a 2.5 GAA which would be a nightmare for Florida. It won't be easy for them in the least bit. I say NJ in 5.
AsoTamaki 04.11.12	Yeah, man. Those guys need to be shut down for sure. The Panthers' defense is very strong though. If they limit the scoring from those three, anything can happen. And his stats might not look too impressive, but this has been Theodore's best year in a long time. He mainly just needs to remain consistent and play his best. I'm sure he'll be motivated since this could be one of his last runs. Their biggest issue is the offensive production. That's why I say they would have no shot against Pittsburgh. That team will score a ton of goals regardless of how good your goalie is playing and the Panthers simply wouldn't be able to score enough to keep up. I think you'll be surprised, guys.

Great defense wins championships. PIT is ranked 17th in D, so that could prove to be detrimental to them.

That's not the kind of team they are.They've got a lot of experienced guys, and a lot of hungry young guys (even some older ones like Weiss) seeing the playoffs for the first time. Even if the Devils win 5, they will be five hard-fought games. Obviously, the Panthers don't have a greatly skilled team. They've mainly relied on their team to grind out games to win, so I think the games will all be close. Oh, and as much as I still don't like Richards, he's damn entertaining to watch.

I still have faith, but we absolutely must win game 3 and probably game 4 too to even have a chance.
