02.25.14 | Rereading A Wrinkle In Time because last time I read it was when I was around 11 and I couldn't wrap my head around it, and I was curious to see what it'd be like now that I think I can better understand it. Pretty enjoyable.
Read House of Leaves if you get the chance. Interesting book written interestingly. |

TheArkitecht

02.25.14 | I feel like TKaM and Crime & Punishment would've been awesome if school didn't ruin them for me. Even going back to TKaM I can't fully enjoy it because I have repressed memories of slaving over meaningless essays bouncing back up every other paragraph. |

02.25.14 | Currently re-reading R.A. Salvatore's 'The Companions' in anticipation of the first book in his next trilogy (or saga) 'The Companions Codex: Book 1 - Night of the Hunter'. Probably close to book 30 in a long-running fantasy series which I am fully up to date on. However, only about 50% of his work passed the test on my second read-through begging the question of lasting appeal. The books I do plan to keep re-reading are awesome though. |
