01.03.13 | Oh, man nice. I love German Shepherds. They're excellent dogs. Intelligent and playful.
I have a border collie named Spartacus, he's 6 and extremely hyperactive as well. Actually, this is quite a coincidence because he too is lying down in his bed as I type this. Dogs are honestly the best thing on this planet in my opinion. |

01.03.13 | My friend has a border collie and she is the nicest thing. Come to think of it I have really met a mean dog. Met alot of asshole cats though. |

01.03.13 | whoa how long do cats live for |
bach
01.03.13 | If you keep them indoors, anywhere in between 15 and 20. Outdoors, like 6. |
SgtPepper
01.03.13 | I've never met a mean dog or cat. The cats I've met are usually just very shy or steer clear from strangers, very few cats have actually been playful with me. Which is a shame because I love to pet them. |
YankeeDudel
01.03.13 | why do they live shorter outdoors? unless that just counts for car accidents/predators or something? |

01.03.13 | Ive always looked at dogs and cats like this. A dog is more work and takes up more energy to care for but they are much more fun and care about you more. Cats kind of do their own thing which means you have to look after them much less but they arent as fun to play with or as rewarding. It just depends what kind of pet you want. A high maintenance/high reward one (dog) or low maintenance/medium reward (cat). At least thats my experience. |

pretty much. But, to earn a cat's love, all you have to do is feed it. |

01.03.13 | I have a orange tabby cat named tango who is the fucking shit. That dude had to have at least 20 lives because he bites power cords and gets electrocuted like a boss |

01.03.13 | I think cats have complex personalities, dogs seem kinda stupid and impulsive to me. I'm also more a chill person than an athletic one, therefore hanging with a cat on a couch is far more appealing than running around on a beach with a dog slobbering all over my balls |
Polyethylene
01.03.13 | I've had better experiences with cats personally, I love both but yeah cats any day (you can raise cats to be really affectionate and responsive too, the fat and lifeless ones always belong to people who work 24/7) |

01.03.13 | nice man we named our german shepard the same thing except I had mine is 4 years old, and I got three more named Luna, Isis, and Ulver (go figure) |

01.03.13 | I have to name my first dog Townsend. |
Wolfhorde
01.03.13 | The problem with dogs is their "intelligence" is highly dependant on race and as Snox said how they're raised. A properly raised husky/saarlos/tchechoslovakian wolfhound is gonna be incredibly smart and quite "agile" for a dog. This seems to be less the case with cats. |
