Devin Townsend Needs To...

Just some things I'd like to see from Devin. He's an amazing musician, seriously.
7Devin Townsend
Ziltoid the Omniscient

realize that metal and humor don't really mix. Oh wait he did:
"I'm very rapidly realizing that humor and metal... it doesn't really work." - Devin Townsend.
Seriously though, Devin's a hilarious guy. I personally think he should keep the shit-ton of jokes he included on Ziltoid off of future albums.
6The Devin Townsend Band

make Epicloud as awesome and diverse as Synchestra. One of the reasons I liked Synchestra so much was partly because of the fact that it featured a number instruments other than electric guitars, and not every song (or at least not every bit of each song) was played in the same key.

Accelerated Evolution

start writing lyrics like the ones on Accelerated Evolution and Ocean Machine: Biomech again. It's nice that Devin has a quirky side, but sometimes being a little too quirky is too much.
4Devin Townsend

include solos like the ones on Terria in his future releases. They just fit into the background and create an amazing atmosphere, even if they sometimes sound quite similar to one another.
3Devin Townsend

remaster Physicist. An amazing piece of music overwhelmed with poor production quality. If this were to be remastered (and maybe he threw in a few solos or something, I don't know) it'd sound better than ever.
2Devin Townsend

start playing "Sit in the Mountain" live. That has to be one of his most beautiful songs.
