I wish they didn't take soooo damn long to make a new album. When you think about it 4 years is quite a long time to make a new album, regardless of its greatness. Personally, I would like to see some "simple" straight forward speed metal albums that are similar to their very first albums. All I want is a larger discography. |

Dan Swano will go out of his way to briefly reform EoS to make a tribute album for Chuck Schuldiner without any participation from any other band member, but he will go out of his way to form some other underground death metal bands. I mean wtf? You can still carry on an awesome project by putting out a great album every now and again rather than effectively ending greatness - he had the perfect chance to start over with a fresh new set of ideas without the other guys holding him back. |

I really don't have any complaints about the band's music, but Dave needs to go back to college or needs to at least put a determination in his will to sound more educated, because everything he's been saying as of recently is just down right retarded. |

Thunder in the East
Their stuff from the 80's was solid heavy metal that could be compared to Judas Priest and Iron Maiden, but their desire to be more commercialized in the early 90's ruined their sound, and they still haven't recovered from those mistakes. It's almost like they had no faith in their fan bases from their home country of Japan.

I'm seriously thinking that they've been drunk 95% of time during the recording sessions of their last two albums. I think alcohol took a turn for the worst for the Finnish party animals. They better straighten up and cut back on that booze to see if that will get them back on track on making some albums that can be compared to Follow the Reaper or even Hatebreeder. |
