When you listen to this record, it makes you feel exactly how that guy looks. Sick,
tired, and gloomy. Yet, the album has a beauty and almost sparkling sound of

Electric Wizard is a band that could have at least 3-4 other albums I could say the same about, as all their album art flawlessly
describes the music. When you
hear "Ivixor B/Phase Inducer", you ARE on that planet that the album cover depicts.
The colors are perfect for the guitar tones and fuzz on the album, and evil sorcerers

Seventeen Seconds
The colors of the album cover just do it for me. And the album cover makes me feel
like "I've been here before, but when? And where is this?". It's a weird album like

Turn On the Bright Lights
This album's music is the epitome of "winter music". You really are Paul Banks
walking down the cold, snowy NYC sidewalk at night, towards home, all alone with
your iPod in. The actual image on the cover sleeve doesn't so much depict this, but

Siamese Dream
The warmest guitar tones ever + the glowing orange tint on the cover =
PERFECTION. This album is definition of toasty. Put this on during those cold winter
nights and you're bound to feel at least a little warmer. And the album is perfect

Music Has the Right to Children
This album was an easy pick. That aqua/green-ish tint and all the hazy/distorted
view of the picture are just perfect for the analog equipment these guys use when
making their sound. Even the music videos on YouTube are perfect for their music.

Humbug
Mhm. You're chilling out with your friends, you're definitely high on something,
probably weed or shrooms, and you can't get enough of the Psychedelia and haze
surrounding the guitars and music you're listening to. With Josh Homme in the
studio for this one, it's easy to see where all the drugged-out imagery comes from.

Alligator
You're with the love of your life in autumn walking down every street in NYC and
you're slightly buzzed on whatever you have in your fancy flask. You both just got out of some classy
concert/show and you're merrily walking home late at night, laughing and talking at
the things that happened that night and you can't stop smiling. You're in your 20's
in the prime of your life and you know it, so you're embracing every moment of it.
Perfection. Actually, the album cover only helps a little bit. The overall music on this album simply makes you feel this. I love

Oceanic
You're falling under the extreme weight of the tides and green murky water you're
submerged in. Someone tied a ball and chain around your leg and you can't get it
off. You're probably going to die and meet your maker, but you enjoy the beauty
and power of the water as you slowly drown under the immense pressure of the

07.19.12 | I love basically every last album here. But that Humbug album has been on my mind lately. "Dance Little Liar", "Fire And The Thud" and "Jeweller's Hands" have a seriously hypnotic dark psychedelic trance to them. Very "smoke-friendly" album | auberginedreams

like 10 minutes in my room staring at the vinyl sleeve and i still can't really tell. i'm guessing
it's a stage, but the red square looks too stiff to be a curtain. or maybe it's a bridge from the
perspective of someone standing below on the ground off to the side. idk. | bach
