ArsMoriendi 06.21.14	Most of the scene kids from my Middle School became theater kids/or just generic nerdy kids in High School. They're mostly nice people, so I never minded them. Well one of them saw me wearing my Mr. Bungle shirt and said "Mr. Bungle? Those guys suck!" so he's kind of a dick, but whatever. I was fortunate enough to not have scene kids in my High School.

Then tried to tell me she liked Dre but didnt know any songs and then called Kanye West, Kenya West.

We dated for like two years or something, and she turned out pretty rad, other than some emotional problems she had real bad. She just kind of became a really independent girl who still retained cuteness and such. So she was cool, for the most part. I've never seen another scene kid evolve, though.

Scene kids are silly kids trying to decipher what is emo. Emo kids are non-existent. People who listen to emo are people who deciphered what is emo.
Solaire 06.21.14	Most of them become hipsters actually because they outgrew the sexual frustrated songs of Blood on the Dance Floor and got tired of the lovely dovey then heartbreak of Sleeping with Sirens. They enjoyed the self-centered, fuck you society aspect of being Scene but realized that they were being too flashy about it. So they became hipster where they could still say fuck you society but also function slightly more within it. They get to be more self-righteous and elitist because they are "educated" counter-culture. They play the victim to a lesser degree, but it still is there. Basically they grow up without actually learning anything from their past stage of rebellion.

DatsNotDaMetulz 06.21.14	So glad we had a lack of scene kids at my school, I mean, some of us listened to metalcore and the like and loved it, one's 20 and is a ginger hardcore kid now, a couple of them are with me in my hardcore band but are pretty much normal people, I was never a scene kid although I dug BMTH for a while (still like them a bit although my absolute favourite band at the time was Refused). If anything, I do look more scene now than I used to cos I went from wild, messy hair to dreadlocks to short black then red hair. But I have a penchant for death metal and black metal much more than metalcore and hardcore now.
