Sputnik Profiles: Inveigh

Today we are going to profile the famous user Inveigh. At 13,000 posts, he better damn well be famous by now.

Strengths: The user known as Inveigh has several strengths that he adds to the Sputnik community. The first is that he is one of the site's nicer users, and is by far the most amicable member of TMF, carrying a degree of modesty amongst the massive egos that he is usually associated with (Intothepit, BigHans, Maniac). Inveigh was voted as the offical Sputnik Hip Hop Authority, and is part of a niche of a small group of elite hip hop enthusiasts that has had a great deal of influence on Sputnik's taste. The Analyzer has noticed that many users, such as the user Emim, have credited Inveigh with influencing his hip hop catalog, and even getting certain users into hip hop all together. Inveigh also posesses a great deal of knowledge of the metal genre, having knowledge and opinions on virtually every elitist sub genre fapped over by users such as BallsToTheWall and FadeToBlack. Inveigh is also a talented writer, and overall presents himself as an influential, and totally chill Sputnik user. Finally, Inveigh almost has a cult like following, especially noteworthy are the masturbatory praise/hero worship he gets from young, impressionable users like Counterfeit and Maniac!

Audition

Weaknesses: The Analyzer believes Inveigh's greatest weakness is repetition. The Analyzer can safely say that virtually anyone that has every graced a Sputnik profile knows that Inveigh likes Underground Hip Hop (Inveigh we get it, you like Mac Lethal and Atmosphere, ok?). The Analyzer also rolls his eyes anytime someone creates a sports related thread, as it is almost a certainty that Inveigh will jump in and dominate the thread, posting 3 paragraph rants on the NBA for every two-sentence paragraph another user can muster. Inveigh tends to rec the same albums over and over, and has a tendency to get really butt-hurt when someone slams one of his babies. Inveigh also has some elitist tendencies, meaning he likes to rep albums nobody has heard of and has a tendency to amazingly get pissed when it takes off, like he owns it or something. The Analyzer believes Inveigh needs to review more as well, as somehow Inveigh is able to post 13,000 comments but in his own words is "too lazy to review."

Posting Tendencies: Whenever the following items are posted or bumped, you can rest assured Inveigh will literally sprint across the room to comment: Hip Hop, Indie Hip Hop, Basketball, Sex, Sports, The National, Fat women, metalcore, death metal, anything posted by IntothePit.

Famous For: Hip Hop Knowledge, being an actual musician, sports knowledge, bromance with Intothepit, Mac Lethal review (actually meeting and opening for Mac Lethal).

Overall Score: 8.5: Inveigh gets most of his points for likeability and knowledge. Inveigh is nice to virtually everyone, the only exception is if IntothePit starts another banal argument with someone and he begrudgingly has to defend him due to the bro code. Inveigh may relentlessly, and sometimes ad nauseum, mention the same albums over and over, but nevertheless he has been an extremely influential member of the Sputnik community, and is well liked by all. Inveigh needs to expand upon his writing talents and try to branch out a little bit more, but he remains a top Sputnik user despite these small shortcomings.
