I know all these guys through the artist will moloney, whose self-titled time stalkers album I might as well plug here. sort of bratty leftist sloganeering (the last song is called "general strike") but with very strong songwriting and interesting instrumentation on that album; booked them once at my sister's house and he's got a great (and fucking ridiculously long) back catalogue. sort of a robert pollard of the 21C if you're into that idea. look up the song "commercials make me sad" by his main project, Old Table; or "obstacles" by the climax landers band from which time stalkers spun off (I prefer CL). will also once played the tiny house in willington, connecticut where my brother lived on a bill with jeffrey lewis which is weird. everyone's friends with everyone.
