The Weeknd

This "The Weekend" album really isn't that amazing guys... don't rknow what all the hype is rabout
1The Weeknd
House of Balloons

Most of the sputnik community are getting super horny about this release...but I'm
missing what people are seeing so damn interesting about it. 3/5
2Burial
Street Halo

Nice EP from burial, showing off some longer track lengths and more variety in
his music. But... it's still only three great songs. Looking forward to his next LP.
3.5/5
3The Devil Wears Prada
Zombie EP

Every one seems to think this is the best thing TDWP have done (compared to
their other garbage that is). Yeah the zombie apocalypse idea is cool and some
of the breakdowns are really fun, but this is still just another mediocre release
from a mediocre band. 3/5
4cLOUDDEAD
cLOUDDEAD

Ever heard any extremely psychedelic hip-hip??? Well this is some and its
awesome. 4/5
5Between the Buried and Me
The Parallax: Hypersleep Dialogues

A lot better than the great misdirect. The best thing I've heard from these guys
in awhile, and sorta restored my faith in them. 4/5
6Andy Mckee
Art of Motion

Stumbled across this album the other day and i'm really glad I did. The whole
album is just solo acoustic guitar, but this guy shreds and its really pretty music.
4.5/5
7The Kilimanjaro Darkjazz Ensemble
From the Stairwell

The groups last album "Here be Dragons" is one of the only ambient-drone (if
you can even call it that) albums i have been interested by and enjoyed a ton.
So i figured i would add this to my collection and its just as amazing. 4/5
8Lo-Pan
Salvador

Picked this up yesterday and its a great progressive hard-rock album. Full of
some of the best chunky guitar riffs you'll hear in '11. 4/5
9Beats Antique
Tribal Derivations

I'm seeing this guy open for bassnectar over the summer and i can't wait. His
mix of electronica, dub-step and world music influence makes his music truly
original. 4/5
10James Blake
James Blake

Have heard a ton of good things about this. Haven't listened yet but
hopefully its good.
