Laziest Bands

In light of The Dear Hunter pumping out 36 songs of delicious in just over a year, which may quickly brand them with the label "hardest working band in music", or at least "most efficient with their use of time", lets take a look at the other side of the spectrum at a few of the laziest bands in music. (holy run on sentence!)
5Owl City
Ocean Eyes

Seriously, screw this guy. He may come out with a sufficient amount of "songs", but releasing the same
one over 20 times doesn't make it music. Hey buddy, stop letting your computer write your music, and
stop being so damn happy. You live in Seattle for christs sake, its always raining and you're supposed to
be depressed.
4 Dredg
Chuckles and Mr. Squeezy

As far as I'm concerned, this band hasn't recorded an album since The Pariah.... They have, however, started allowing dan
the automater to write music FOR them. I can only imagine that in the mean time they were too busy being a
disappointment. Seriously guys, I'm really disappointed; go sit in the corner and think about what you've done.
3Lostprophets
The Betrayed

Ok, once upon a time the prophets were actually making consistent music (in sound and in frequency). Even
Liberation Transmission was released in a timely manner, and despite being objectively terrible, it still sounded
coherent. That was 2006. Fast forward four years, and numerous delays and album scraps, and you get the mutt
that is The Betrayed. Not only did they make their fans wait way to long after a horrible album, giving them the
chance to give up and grow up (I did), but it also completely lacked any identity. That being said, the one good thing
that came out of the situation was that I now know Ian Watkins is not only a douche, but a wanker as well.
2 Evaline
Postpartum Modesty

Whats could possibly be worse than only having one LP in 5 years, why, having no LP's in 6 years!! Having only
released 2 EP's since 2006, Evaline have sadly settled into obscurity after a promising career never had the chance
to take off. Come on guys, release a full length already! Or at least another EP...
1Yndi Halda
Enjoy Eternal Bliss

Ok, before I start, let me just say that I love this band. To death. But that doesn't excuse, or change
the fact, that this band is just plain lazy. Releasing their one (and only) full length back in 2007, Yndi
Halda has failed in the mean time to produce even a single recorded song. Sure, a few live recordings
have been circling the web for some time now, but seriously, that just makes their lack of discography
even more apparent. For an "active" band to have only produced 4 songs in their 5 year run (even if
their 20minutes each) is just a travesty considering how great they are. Come on Yndi, show some
life!!!
