My Favourite Albums

these are my favourite albums, it was realy hard to think about them and i tried so hard not to be cliche and think about what albums mean most to me and not what everyone says is good but i probably have anyway
1The Wonder Years
The Upsides

I got this album at a time when i was realy down of everything and well it made me realise, what the fuck am i doing with my life, this cant be it and i realy took on the whole ""im not sad anymore battlecry" as soupy the vocalist calls it
2Senses Fail
Life Is Not A Waiting Room

this album is criminaly under rated around here, to me it beats still searching due to the fact it sounds down right pissed off at times, and when i first heard it it fitted me perfectly and ended up on repeat for six months
3Alexisonfire
Watch Out!

The albums songs are all vry unique and different to each other and are still all absolutely amazing and consistent
4More Than Life
Love Let Me Go

this album single handedly got me into hardcore, the vocals are raw and full of emotion the musicianship is tight and it all sounds full of energe, i love this album
5The Fall Of Troy
Doppelganger

when i first heard this it was the fastest, heavyest and most emotional album i had ever heard (i was 13) and its aged fucking brilliantly and hasnt gotten old, just wish i could say the same for the rest of the bands discography (i still shudder at the thought of 'in the unlikely event'
6Brand New
Deja Entendu

just, just wow
7Less Than Jake
GNV FLA

yes it beats rockview by an inch, just bacause i prefer the darker tones of this one
8Emery
...In Shallow Seas We Sail

its not perfect sometimes, but damn it makes up for it at others
9Funeral For a Friend
Casually Dressed & Deep In Conversation

aaah Nostalgia (im only 17 but damn this brings back memories)
10Defeater
Empty Days And Sleepless Nights

ok yeah defeater had to be here, im sorry theyre just that good, but i prefer the more melodic depressive tones of this album to travels (im sorry sputnik)
11Pearl Jam
Ten

imo the best grunge album ever made well its tied with dirt
12Alice In Chains
Dirt

see 11
13Deaf Havana
Meet Me HalfWay, At Least

its so hard not to like this band, plus james has a phenominal voice (listen to smiles all round)
14Down
Nola

feel the southern groove
15Thrice
The Artist In The Ambulance

i dont realy like thrice but this album is amazing
16Listener
Wooden Heart

So much emotion is portrayed through simple talking, and the lyrics are stunning
17Descendents
Milo Goes To College

my first punk album
18Bad Religion
No Control

the production is near perfect, the songe all quick and energetic, seen them live twice this year, fucking worth the 150 mile drive each way
19Cunninlynguists
Oneirology

evryone needs to chill sometimes
20Parkway Drive
Killing With A Smile

Yeah the lyrics are sometimes downright horrible, but again the nostalgia wins though
