12.30.23 | The Amensal Rise is awesome and yeah I haven’t seen it much on lists. Not exactly “new” Neil, it’s actually an album that was suppose to come out in ‘77 but never did and had been a major bootleg for years. It’s got songs or original versions of songs that would end up on his releases from ‘77-‘80. Chrome Dreams has original appearance of classics like Powderfinger, Pocahontas, Like a Hurricane- classic after classic. |

12.31.23 | Yes! I realized that most of my list is metal lol I genuinely enjoy most genres but metal seems to have dominated my year. Stoked to see your list, mate!
I also just listened to Dream Unending and Worm’s split from this year and that would probably make my list. Totally missed that release but both those groups are wonderful |

12.31.23 | Dodheimsgard is fantastic and it’s been great seeing it on so many end of year lists. That’s fair. Porous Resonance Abyss is awesome and feels fresh for Krallice. I really enjoyed the second half of Mass Cathexis 2, which has a similar synthy vibe. I didn’t mention it, but I was keeping list to one album per artist otherwise Krallices other LP would be in a similar spot |
