Why Doesn't Anyone Like Me?

Nobody likes me, everybody hates me, I'm gonna go eat worms! Big ones, skinny ones, short ones, fat ones, I'm gonna go eat worms! Since the majority of this site seems to think I'm the "bane" of it's existence, I thought I might go ahead and share with you a bit of my musical history, as well as the progression I've made.
1 Southern Gospel
Southern Gospel

No, it's not an album, nor an artist, but I cannot remember for the life of me the crap I had to bear with this when I was younger. It's quite disturbing how they interpreted the meaning of the words, and I'm stoutly anti-religious because of this.
2Hank Williams
40 Greatest Hits

This isn't the proper album, but this was another one that was constantly on play in my home when I was younger. I guess the people in my house never listened to lyrics....
3Johnny Cash
Greatest Hits Volume 1
4The Beach Boys
Pet Sounds
5Buddy Holly
The Chirping Crickets
6Aerosmith
Toys in the Attic

Finally, something a bit different. This was something I had to listen to in secret for about 5 years, along with the next 3 or 4 below it. Aerosmith was probably the first heavier act I got into, and I still give this a few spins every now and then.
7Led Zeppelin
Led Zeppelin IV
8Bush
Sixteen Stone
9Pantera
Vulgar Display of Power

This was my first, very first heavy metal album that I ever got. Fucking amazing.
10Limp Bizkit
Significant Other

I used to be ashamed of this, but now I embrace it!
11Strapping Young Lad
City

This was the heaviest thing I could find when I was 14 or 15 years old, and when I started playing high school football, "All Hail the New Flesh" became my personal pump-up anthem.
127 Seconds
The Crew

My first hardcore record. You know how Sony used to make those Walkmen for kids, "My First Sony?" This should be a requirement for anyone getting into hardcore. It's quite accessible.
13Fear Factory
Demanufacture

Mmmmmmmmm..... glorious!
14Mobb Deep
The Infamous

Maybe the first true hip-hop album I ever bought, but either way, it's still my absolute favorite.
15Atmosphere
Overcast!
16GZA
Liquid Swords
17Verse
Aggression
18Minus the Bear
Planet of Ice

I used to hate shit like this, up until about 5 years ago. I'm amazed how much my tastes changed between the first time I could really listen to music and about 8 years ago, but what's even more surprising is how my tastes haven't changed one bit in the past 6-7 years.
19Deftones
Around the Fur

I'm usually more of a White Pony guy, but I've been giving this probably 1 or 2 spins a day over the past couple of weeks. Be Quiet and Drive(Far Away) is by far my favorite Deftones' song.
20Fugazi
Repeater

How Thrice beat out Fugazi is beyond me, and I've come to the conclusion that most of you are idiots. Was that confrontational enough for you?
