11.06.14 | Well he's on a few of George Russell's albums (including Electronic Sonata, I might be pointing out something you already know here but not 100% sure) and if I remember correctly (been a long time since I've listened) he was most prominent on Trip to Prillarguri. He was also in Min Bul and their one and only album is about as far from ECM style jazz as possible.
His solo stuff probably isn't really your thing as you've already noticed, although I personally think Odyssey is excellent and it's probably better described as atmospheric jazz fusion than ECM style jazz. |
