So You Want To Hear The Melvins...

Getting into The Melvins is a pretty tough thing to do, considering they're closing in on 30 full length studio albums. That's why I've compiled this short list that should help make it easier to get into this awesome band.

Start out with this album if you like really heavy grunge with an
experimental twist.
A Senile Animal

Start out here if you like stoner metal. The first album they released with 2
drummers. Probably their most "normal" album since Bullhead

If you like drone and sludge metal. Quessential album, a true classic in the
Sludge metal genre.
Stoner Witch

Same as Houdini, except less heavy and more quirky. Quite experimental.
Gluey Porch Treatments

Start out here if you're an extreme metal fan. Often considered one of the
first sludge metal albums and is still crushing to this day.
