KotoFtw 02.03.13	Hahaha it's pretty much a local legend. It's funny because at the time the girl in the video was like 15 and the singer was 20 or 21. One of my good friends is the drummer in that video, but he quit that band like right after that.

KotoFtw 02.03.13	Yeah these guys aren't the worst band, but it's the way they go about things that irks me. They have literally lied about playing Warped Tour and Bamboozle on their biography. "Five piece, Rock/Progressive group, Lakeview Drive originated back in 2010 in Seattle, Washington. The band was apart of numerous shows and tours including: Vans Warped Tour, Bamboozle, and independent tours."

DatsNotDaMetulz 02.03.13	Some of my friends' bands have actually got fairly decent followings. Bleeding Oath are known for getting (well, their fans do it) a load of established musicians to tell them to fuck off after someone got Mikael from Opeth to jokingly tell them to stop ripping of his music and to fuck off.

DatsNotDaMetulz 02.03.13	It's mainly just Bleeding Oath and Tradjectory in the metal bracket. Other than that it's a lot of indie bands like Stay Lucky Sound and Silent Crowd plus some small teen punk bands around the 14-16 age bracket. My main band is Eight Days From Sunday, we're not great but I feel we've developed a lot since I've joined on bass/backing screams, we just need to stabilize our sound as it's rather conflicted between hardcore and pop-punk and I'm not sure if I wanna be another ADTR. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aQNo_QZaBJo Our frontman's not much of a singer so I'm just gonna keep pushing him into a more hardcore sound. Also I don't really like pop-punk so hardcore is my preferred choice in that respect too.

North0House2 02.07.13	Yeah, my girlfriend says Washington is just saturated with hipsters. Hipsters making music is just not a good combo as far as I'm concerned. I still vouch that Denver has a pretty bad local music scene, though. There are some REALLY good musicians here, but they're so private and down-low that they never play live whatsoever... or they just do solo stuff around their friends. The bands that actually get out and about are pretty much just metalcore or some generic alt-rock bands. I think the Photo Atlas is local though, I used to like them. Maybe they're still around.

North0House2 02.07.13	Yeah man. I think the last notable band that I really wanted to see was Junius when they came through with O'Brother. But, I couldn't go because I was out of town. That was summer of 2011. So that was almost like 2 years ago. It's a big city, but I guess it's just kind of out of the way, just like Wyoming, Idaho, and the Dakotas. It makes sense, I guess. Exactly, yeah. I think that's the problem.

DatsNotDaMetulz 02.09.13	Well at least it can be said we have a fairly close-knit group in the local punk/metal scene here. We don't really gaf about the indie bands but the punk and metal bands keep in touch with each other and we're helping out younger bands too - a local punk band (mainly pop-punk, they're only kids so they'll probably grow out of it like my band has/is) is working on a new demo and I've helped improve their artwork (still not great but much better looking than what they had before which I just used as a template) and my band's frontman is going to help produce their demo. No idea if it'll be any good but it's nice to help out.

I watched this awful band empty out a bar. Two friends of theirs came to see them. Everyone else was just sitting at the bar talking about how terrible the band was. They were the only band that night, and were being paid. One of the guys I went with found the band on Facebook, where they posted this video from that night. So, of the entire night of terrible music, this was the BEST they could come up with to post online. There were two negative comments, but they have since been removed. The thumbs down still show up.
