All I ever hear about why people love this movie so much is how heartbreaking the first five minutes are, which is a completely subjective emotional experience - I didn't even think it was sad. Then again, I find computer-generated animation to be really sterile, even with a talented studio like Pixar, and, thus, pretty much never get any emotional impact. I much prefer traditional cel animation and stop motion.
