02.18.12 | As much as Man Utd usually come good at this time of the season, their defense looks more susceptible this year than in previous seasons. This should open the door for Man City to drop a few points & still take out the League. |

02.18.12 | I'm really surprised AVB hasn't been sacked, but pleasantly surprised. It's an aging (ageing?) squad going through a transition so they need to have patience. It doesn't help that they shelled out 50 million on a striker who has done nothing.
They sacked Grant for runner up in the league (which he inherited partway through after Jose was sacked), runner up in the CL (which was a lottery) and an FA Cup win. That's insane. Shouldn't have sacked Ancelotti either.
If City fall over United will take full advantage I think, but City have the best squad and first 11 in the Prem now imo. |

02.18.12 | Is 6th a Europa League place this year?
I think that Utd have the mentality to win the league but their squad just isn't good enough. City haven't experienced it before but I think that the Toure's and Balotelli coming back will give them a massive boost. I honestly think that the derby at Eastlands could decide it. If City win the title's good as their's. If Utd win it'll be wide open.
4th place is anyone's guess. Arsenal and Chelsea are the favourites but they're both far too inconsisent to make any kind of solid prediction. I'd be amazed if we get it but if we win our next two home games (Wolves and Mackems) then we'll be in a great position. I expect Liverpool to come good at some stage but it'll be too little too late for 4th.
Wolves will go down. Sacking McCarthy was madness given that there's no one out there that's going to do a better job. Bolton just aren't good enough so they'll go too, and although I think they'll put up a hell of a fight I reckon this might be Wigan's year for the drop. |

02.18.12 | Anyone who thinks Abramovich has a new-found sense of patience is so naive. He just hasn't gotten around to sacking him yet. The man's a penis, doesn't understand the importance of stability in building a successful club, thinks money solves everything. You only need to look at the most successful English club in the last 20 years and how they've kept SAF for so long to understand it. Abramovich is the worst thing about football, so I hope they keep drawing with Birmingham at Stamford Bridge for the rest of time.
City will win it. United's defence is a shambles. I'd love to see Spurs take 2nd, but I can't see it happening. |

I think that their squad is actually pretty decent as far as names go, it's just that they have very little chemistry, miss so many golden chances, and the defense has been a total mess this year. Oh and Szczesny really isn't ready to be #1 goalkeeper for them yet. |

02.18.12 | I agree with the first two Ali (speaking about the whole season here, not just this game). I am an adamant supporter of Rosicky though and while I do admit that he isn't playing too well atm, I hope they start trusting him over Arteta next year (under the impression that he will still be with Arsenal), because he needs more playing time to gt back into the swing of things. At least Tomas is an offensive-minded passer who looks to get forward and create opportunities. Arteta is imo a worthless midfield player because while he has skills, he is content with just rolling the ball around in midfield and tallying up passes. |

02.18.12 | they do have a good amount of amazing players, but they need to get rid of Rosciky, Chamakh, Arshavin and Djourou imo... get someone creative + fast in midfield and 2 more solid defenders.. the rest of the squad is superb + Ryo and Chamberlain are going to be top players in a few seasons |

Others need to step their game up as well for him to stay. |

I really want Birmingham to be promoted. Hughton is a great young coach who deserves to be in the PL. I still dont think he should have been sacked last year at Newcastle. |
AliW1993
02.19.12 | It's strange, because literally everyone was opposed to it at the time, but although it still seems a harsh dismissal our current position suggests it may have been the correct decision.
