11.03.18 | Not to be overly defensive, but I never understood why so many on this site seem to really dislike The Wall, despite it being one of their most popular and respected albums.
And Division Bell is criminally underrated in my opinion. In the same way I think of nighttime and magic when listening to Dark side of the Moon, I think of sunlight and magic with Division Bell. |

11.03.18 | That's exactly my point. As a concept album all about self-imposed exile and isolation it hits the emotional aspects pretty well. And the song writing and trance-endorsing sound scapes it created are just as well executed as Darkside or Meddle. |

11.04.18 | Albums go in and out of style. There was a time when The Wall was worshipped, and Animals couldn't get any respect. Now Animals is in, and The Wall is out. As far as I'm concerned, they're both great albums, although I'd rate The Wall slightly higher. (But even I went through a period where Animals was my favorite Floyd album, so I might feel differently in a week or so.)
