Slashs April 2017

What a time to sit around and make lists when you should rather do stuff for university.
1Haiyti
Havarie

German Rap// Really promising debut album by one of the best female rappers in Germany right now. Only problem, Selouche is a pretty mediocre producer, and that is really a problem on this thing. Still, Clubhai is amazing and Haiyti has some good verses on this thing. //3/5
2Haiyti & 2Malle
Drop In Musik

Bullshit// I don't know and I don't wanna know what they thought when they made this. It's kinda funny, though. //2/5
3Haiyti
City Tarif

Gertrap// Her first step into a real artistic direction and MAN is it good. every song keeps the high energy, the skits are mercifully short, the verses are memorable and it's catchy to a T. Highlights are City Tarif, Festgenommen (!!!!!) and Quadro. //4,5/5
4Haiyti & KitschKrieg
Toxic EP

German Rap// Her collaboration with Kitschkrieg just solidifies her potential and has some of her more interesting lyrical constructs. It's a very sad EP, and it doesn't overstay it's welcome at all. And Kitschkrieg do wonders behind the boards. I recommend Zeitboy from this. //4/5
5Haiyti
Nightliner

Gertrap// A step down from the last two projects, but the energy is very, very high on this one. Perfect tape to party to. Also, she's talking on some real shit on this one. My favourite might be the mellow Globus, though. //3,5/5
6Haiyti & Die Achse
Jango EP

SLAP// This might be her worst performance as a rapper yet, but GOD DAMN THESE BEATS. Die Achse are easily Germanys best producers right now. THIS IS SO HARD. //4/5
7Haiyti
White Girl Mit Luger

Videogame-Samples?// Just another short and sweet EP by her. Not bad, Money Rain is an amazing song, but nothing to write too much home about. //3,5/5
8Haiyti
Follow Mich Nicht

Gertrap// Easily her best since City Tarif. This is dark, gritty, grimy and aggressive, with a lot of tales from herpart of town and her drug dealing days. I dig pretty much every song on this, even when she gets more experimental on some songs. I think I might have a crush on this woman. //4,5/5
9Trettmann
KitschKrieg

TrapHall?// Very cool EP by a former reggae-singer with amazing production and great lyrics. Just check it out. //4/5
10Trettmann
KitschKrieg 2

Reggae-Trap// Same as before, but way more cohesive and with great features. //4,5/5
11Trettmann
KitschKrieg 3

DanceTrap// Also really good, but has one of the worst verses I ever heard from the singer of Kraftklub. God, I hate that moron sometimes. //4/5
12Megaloh, Trettmann, Kitschkrieg
Herb & Mango

ShitSLAP// So, he gets one of his best friends on board, and what comes out is one of the hardest EPs out of germany from this year. Yeah, I'm on board with this. //4/5
13Kodak Black
Painting Pictures

IHATEMYLIFE// IFITFEELSLIKEMACANDCHEESE, STOPHAVINGSEXANDGETOUTOFTHERE. //GAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH (Some of the beats are nice though.
14The Chainsmokers
Bouquet

EDM// Not as bad as you would believe, their first real EP actually has some honest to god jams on it. Shame they would.. //3,5/5
15The Chainsmokers
Collage

EDM?// ...squander their potential to get more and more stale with shitty lyrics, which ultimately escalated into... //3/5
16The Chainsmokers
Memories...Do Not Open

Nah// ...one of the most baffling albums to come out of pop music this year. So many bad decisions on one album. I don't get it. And these lyrics are just so AGGRAVATING. //2/5
17Playboi Carti
Playboi Carti

DoubleNah// This would be a pretty damn good beat tape, if Carti wasn't the worst thing on the planet since Nav. //2/5
18Cam'ron
Confessions Of Fire

KillaCam// Did you honestly expect this would be bad? Are you out of your damn mind? The cover is definitely something, though. Lol. //3,5/5
19Kendrick Lamar
DAMN.

No// I will not discuss this album with you. //TalkToMeAboutThis/AndIWillIgnoreYou
20Scarter
King St.

Uhhhh, This dude has so much potential, but these beats are really bland. Let's see what the future holds for him. //2,5/5
21Take That
Nobody Else

Boyband// And the best one ever. //4,5/5
22Rubberoom
Architechnology

Experimental HipHop// This thing is how old again? Then why does it sound like it could have been released yesterday? This shit goes stupid hard, with almost industrial production and absolutely disgusting verses/lines. Holy DAMN. //5/5
23Travis Scott
Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight

STRAIGHTUP// Still pretty decent. //3,5/5
24Lil Ugly Mane
Bust a Sag

BUSTASAG// BUSTASAGBUSTASAGBUSTASAG //4,5/5
25Lil Ugly Mane
MISTA THUG ISOLATION

StillAClassic// Most definitely. //5/5
26Neutral Milk Hotel
In the Aeroplane Over the Sea

Memz// Dank. //4,5/5
27My Chemical Romance
Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge

Emo// No, you can't argue with me on this one. Thank you. //4,5/5
28Hands Like Houses
Unimagine

Post-Hardcore// Yo I love this dudes voice so so so so much. And these lyrics are really cute, in the best way possible. Oh yeah, his band is pretty tight, too. //4/5
