Bbq Ranked

Ahhh, yes. The old American tradition of BBQ. Delicious. This is my ranking, along with my favorite band and album from that state/region.
5His Hero is Gone
Monuments to Thieves

Memphis style- Not saying this is any better or worse than the rest, just happens to be my least favorite. It's usually smoked pork, whether pulled or ribs. The sauce is very similar to Kansas City/St Louis style, but it's a lil sweeter and isn't used as a sauce, but more of a condiment. What Memphis is really known for is their dry rubs, and the crust it forms on the outside of the meat. So delightful.
4Uncle Tupelo
March 16 to 20, 1992

Saint Louis Style- Strictly pork bbq, Saint Louis is known for their meatier, juicier ribs. A lot of the time the meat is cooked in the sauce, creating a sweet and smokey flavor. Absolutely delectable.
I Am Trying To Break Your Heart

Kansas City Style- Pretty much the same as Saint Louis style, but what sets it apart is that it is more varied. You won't just find pork products, you'll find everything from chicken to fish. So scrumptious.
2Between the Buried and Me
The Silent Circus

North Carolina/South Carolina style- Depending on what part of the region you are in, it can either be a mustard-based or a vinegar-based sauce. Delicious on a pulled pork sandwich. Mmmmmmmmmm, pork.
Vulgar Display of Power

Texas Style- Fuck the pork, where's the beef? Oh, ya it's in the smoker forming a beautiful crust and smoke ring. Don't put the sauce on it to early, otherwise you ruin the flavor of the meat. Use it as a condiment, and don't use too much. Quite delicious.
